One of the nation's top offensive linemen, Jorrie Adams of Jasper, Tex., has pledged to Texas A&M. Long-rumored to be headed for the Aggies, he also considered Arkansas, Florida, LSU, Miami-Florida, Oklahoma and Penn State, among many others.
Top 150 linebacker Earl Everett of Bushnell-South Sumter, Fla., and defensive lineman Julian Riley of St. Petersburg-Lakewood, Fla., pledged to the Florida Gators. Everett also considered Florida State, LSU, Miami-Florida and Nebraska. Riley was being recruited by Pittsburgh, Wisconsin, Boston College and Purdue. The Gators recently gained offensive lineman Carlton Medder of Groveland-South Lakes, Fla., who decommitted from Georgia; and defensive lineman Johnny Dingle of Miami-Washington, Fla., over Auburn, LSU, South Florida and West Virginia.
Top 150 receiver Jimmy Sutton of Boca Raton, Fla., who decommitted from Texas; and Super Prospect running back Brian Dennison of Jacksonville-Mandarin, Fla., over Iowa, Notre Dame, Mississippi and Mississippi State; have pledged to North Carolina State. The Wolfpack also gained defensive back Phillip Holloman of Norfolk-Lake Taylor, Va; and linebacker Guerlin Dervil of Jacksonville-White, Fla.
Michael Turner, a Super Prospect running back from Fort Worth-Dunbar, Tex., is headed to Wisconsin over New Mexico and Ball State. He had interest from Purdue, Texas A&M, Iowa and Missouri. The Badgers also have a verbal from defensive back/receiver James Kamoku of Kailua-Kona/Kealakehe, Hawaii.
The early football signing period for mid-year qualifiers was Dec. 18-Jan 15. The spring period is Feb. 5-Apr. 1. Search the list of Prospects/Commitments/Signings/By Conference. Kansas State has commitments from defensive back Byron Garvin of Miami-Pace, Fla., and linebacker Ben Henderson of Chicago-Hubbard, Ill/Joliet CC, Ill.
Kansas pledged defensive back Shelton Simmons of Georgia Military Academy, Ga; receiver/defensive back Tony King of Florissant-McCluer North, Mo; and defensive lineman Andy Temple of Ballwin-Parkway West, Mo.

Defensive back LaBrose Hedgemon of Hoover, Ala., is no longer committed to North Carolina. He is considering Notre Dame and Colorado.
Defensive lineman Anthony McDaniel of Columbia-Keenan, SC., is no longer committed to Clemson and is looking at the Tigers, South Carolina and Tennessee. The Tigers recently gained receiver/defensive back Robert Reese of Temple, Ga., and tight end Zach Green of Conyers-Salem, Ga.

South Carolina has pledges from tight end Robert Pavlovic of Toronto-St. Xavier, Ontario; offensive lineman William Brown of Boonville-Starmount, NC., who decommitted from East Carolina; and defensive lineman Josh Johnson of Gibsonton-East Bay, Fla., over UConn, Iowa State, Michigan State and South Florida.
Defensive lineman Devrick Hampton of Greenville-Weston, Miss., is headed to Mississippi State. The Bulldogs recently added defensive back Adrian Griffin of LaGrange, Ga., over South Carolina, Arkansas, Maryland and North Carolina; running back Jason Jude of Athens, Ala., who decommitted from Auburn; and defensive back Ricky Wright of Batesville-South Panola, Miss.

Louisville has a commitment from defensive lineman William Gay of Tallahassee-Rickards, Fla. The Cards recently gained defensive lineman Josh Williams of Cedartown, Ga., and tight end Thomas Boyce of Dacula, Ga.
