Top 150 defensive lineman Doug Van Dyke of Marshall, Mich., is headed to Purdue over Michigan. Others were Wisconsin, Ohio State, Nebraska and Michigan State.
Outstanding offensive lineman Jeff Zuttah of Princeton-The Hun School, NJ., pledged to the Michigan Wolverines over Notre Dame, Penn State, Florida State and Boston College. The Wolverines recently added Top 150 defensive back/receiver Ryan Mundy of Pittsburgh-Woodland Hills, Pa., over Pittsburgh and Virginia. He had earlier eliminated Penn State and North Carolina State.
The early football signing period for mid-year qualifiers is Dec. 18-Jan 15. The spring period is Feb. 5-Apr. 1. Search the list of Prospects/Commitments/Signings/By Conference.
Oklahoma, LSU, Texas A&M, Texas, Notre Dame and Georgia head the Early Top Classes.

Top 150 defensive back Brandon Owens of Delray Beach-Atlantic, Fla., committed to Iowa State. The Cyclones recently gained his teammate, linebacker Steve Allen of Delray Beach-Atlantic, Fla., over Kansas State, Iowa, East Carolina, South Florida and Toledo. Linebacker Ron Prelow of Tampa-Jefferson, Fla., claims to be still considering options and has not committed to ISU despite reports from sources.
Defensive back Jamaal Jackson of Northwest Mississippi CC, Miss., and linebacker Brock Stratton of San Antonion-Roosevelt, Tex/mission, are headed to Texas Tech. The Red Raiders recently added tight end David Weems of Conroe-Oak Ridge, Tex., over Arizona, Florida and Iowa State; and defensive back Ryan Phillips of Mt. San Antonio CC, Cal. Tight end Willie Metcalf of Pima College, Ariz., who originally chose Ohio State as a prep, denies a commitment report made by his jc coach.
Big East:
Pittsburgh pledged defensive back Windell Brown of Duquesne, Pa; and kicker/punter Adam Graessle of Dublin-Coffman, Ohio. The Panthers recently gained linebackers H.B. Blades of Plantation, Fla., over Iowa State, Michigan, USC, Virginia, Auburn and Kansas State; and Clint Session of Pompano Beach-Ely, Fla., over North Carolina, Iowa, Kansas State, Michigan State, Purdue, Rutgers, Ohio and Syracuse.
ACC:
Duke has commitments from offensive lineman Garrett Mason of McAllen, Tex., who decommitted from Baylor; offensive lineman Zach Maurides of Glenview-Glenbrook South, Ill; receiver Cedric Mason of Riverdale, Ga; and defensive linemen Casey Camaro of Kingston-Wyoming Seminary, Pa., over Maryland and Syracuse; and Christopher Moore of Mendota Heights-St. Thomas Academy, Minn., over Northwestern. Iowa was also involved.
SEC:
Quarterback Kelcey Luke of Phenix City, Ala., has made a commitment to Auburn over Alabama and Georgia Tech.
Conf-USA:
Tulane pledged receiver Kenneth Guidroz of Port Sulpher, La., and quarterback Richard Irvin of Pasadena-Muir, Cal., over Cincinnati and Hawaii.

Colorado State pledged running back Adam Gabriel of Monrovia, Cal., over Wisconsin; and offensive lineman Robbie Heos of Pearland, Tex. The Rams recently added punter/tight end Jim Kaylor of Northglenn, Colo; defensive back Darryl Williams of Anaheim-Servite, Cal., and linebacker John Nichols of Bellflower, Cal.

Arizona signed tight end Ray Gurley of Independence CC, Kan., who decommitted from Southern Mississippi; and pledged defensive back Wilrey Fontenot of Humble, Tex.
