Joel Holler, a Top 150 offensive lineman from Lancaster-McCaskey, Pa., chose Penn State over Ohio State, Pittsburgh, Miami-Florida and Virginia Tech.
Lewis Baker, an outstanding linebacker from Lewisville-Hebron, Tex., has picked the Oklahoma Sooners over Notre Dame. He earlier decommitted from Texas. Among many others were Arkansas, Georgia Tech, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt (ESPN Chat).
Sean Bailey, a Top 150 receiver from Alpharetta-Milton, Ga., is headed to Georgia over Florida State, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution. The Bulldogs have also gained defensive back Thomas Flowers of Mableton-Pebblebrook, Ga. Georgia recently pledged offensive lineman Carleton Medder of Clermont-South Lake, Fla., over Florida, Florida State, North Carolina State and Tennessee.
Ian-Yates Cunningham, a Top 150 offensive lineman from Lewisville-Hebron, Tex., pledged to Virginia over Georgia Tech and Nebraska (ESPN Chat).
Top 150 defensive back Tarell Brown of Mesquite-North Mesquite, Tex., committed to Texas over Florida, Florida State, Ohio State, Texas A&M, Notre Dame and Tennessee. The Longhorns have also added receiver/defensive back Billy Pittman of Cameron-Yoe, Tex., over Texas A&M, Nebraska and Oklahoma.
Top 150 defensive back/receiver Ryan Mundy of Pittsburgh-Woodland Hills, Pa., has pledged to the Michigan Wolverines over Pittsburgh and Virginia. He had earlier eliminated Penn State and North Carolina State.
Outstanding defensive back Ashton Youboty of Klein, Tex., has made a commitment to the Ohio State Buckeyes over Penn State and Oklahoma.
The early football signing period for mid-year qualifiers is Dec. 18-Jan 15. The spring period is Feb. 5-Apr. 1.
Oklahoma, LSU, Texas A&M, Texas, Notre Dame and Georgia head the Early Top Classes. Commitments by conferences.

The Wisconsin Badgers added linebacker Brandon Kelly of Bedford, Ohio, over Stanford, Boston College, Duke, Maryland and Minnesota; and running back Albert Young of Moorestown, NJ., over Boston College and Rutgers. The Badgers recently gained offensive lineman Marcus Coleman of Plymouth-Wayzata, Minn., over Illinois and Iowa; offensive lineman Luke Knauf of Stratford, Wis., over Iowa; defensive lineman/linebacker Jamal Cooper of St. Louis-Hazelwood East, Mo., over UCLA, Illinois, Missouri and Kansas State; and receiver Brandon Tobias of Harvey-Thornton Township, Ill.

Oklahoma State added a soft verbal from receiver Phillip Jones of Denton-Ryan, Tex., over Missouri, Iowa and Houston.
Linebacker Ron Prelow of Tampa-Jefferson, Fla., claims to be still considering options and has not committed to Iowa State despite earlier reports from sources. The Cyclones recently gained linebacker Steve Allen of Delray Beach-Atlantic, Fla., over Kansas State, Iowa, East Carolina, South Florida and Toledo. The Nebraska Cornhuskers are still waiting for a reported pledge from defensive back Michael Smith of Pima College, Ariz., over Arizona and Texas Tech. The Huskers recently added offensive lineman Darin Delone of Mt. San Antonio CC, Cal., over Mississippi State and Arizona State.
Kansas has verbals from offensive lineman Richard Estrella of Cerritos CC, Cal., over interest from Arizona State, Colorado State, New Mexico, West Virginia and Syracuse; defensive lineman Rashaad Norwood of Kansas City-Schlagle, Kan., over Kansas State; receiver/tight end Lyonel Anderson of Alfred State CC, NY; plus offensive lineman Joe Vaughn and defensive back Brandon Johnson, both from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M CC, Okla. The Jayhawks recently gained offensive lineman Johnny Urrutia of Pico Rivera-El Rancho, Cal/Mt. San Antonio CC, Cal. Kansas State pledged receiver/defensive back Patrick Thompson of Dallas-Kimball, Tex., over an offer from Texas A&M. The Wildcats recently gained defensive back Greg Gaskins of Manhattan, Kan., over Kansas, Boston College, Michigan State and Oklahoma State.

Defensive back Michael Meggett of Brooklyn-Fort Hamilton, NY., picked West Virginia over Rutgers and Vanderbilt.
Pittsburgh pledged kicker/punter Adam Graessle of Dublin-Coffman, Ohio. The Panthers recently gained linebackers H.B. Blades of Plantation, Fla., over Iowa State, Michigan, USC, Virginia, Auburn and Kansas State; and Clint Session of Pompano Beach-Ely, Fla., over North Carolina, Iowa, Kansas State, Michigan State, Purdue, Rutgers, Ohio and Syracuse.

Duke has commitments from offensive lineman Zach Maurides of Glenview-Glenbrook South, Ill; receiver Cedric Mason of Riverdale, Ga; and defensive linemen Casey Camaro of Kingston-Wyoming Seminary, Pa., over Maryland and Syracuse; and Christopher Moore of Mendota Heights-St. Thomas Academy, Minn., over Northwestern. Iowa was also involved.
