Adding to their streak of recruiting triumphs, the USC Trojans have pledged one of the nation's top tight ends in Chris Barrett of Tustin, Cal., over Florida, LSU, Oregon, Washington and Tennessee.

The Trojans recently gained linebacker/defensive lineman Jonathan Turner of Corona, Cal., over Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Arizona and Washington State; defensive lineman Alex Morrow of Rohnert Park-Rancho Cotate, Cal., over Arizona, Oregon, UCLA and Washington.; running back/linebacker Tony Hunt of Alexandria-T.C. Williams, Va; linebacker/running back Salo Faraimo of Vista, Cal., over Washington; and one of the nation's top offensive linemen, Drew Radovich of Mission Viejo, Cal.

Top 150 running back LeRon McClain of Northport-Tuscaloosa County, Ala., has decommitted from Alabama following head coach Dennis Franchione's decision to join Texas A&M. Other prospects considering reopening their commitments include Top 150 running back Tim Castille of Birmingham-Brairwood Christian, Ala; Super Prospect receiver Matt Caddell of McCalla-McAdory, Ala; defensive lineman Michael Hill of Smiths-Smiths Station, Ala., and tight end Mario Lane of Montgomery-Carver, Ala.

Oklahoma, LSU, Texas A&M, Texas and Georgia head the Early Top Classes. Commitments by conferences.
