Building a tremendous recruiting class, the Arizona Wildcats have a commitment from Top 100 guard Mustafa Shakur of Wynnewood-Friends Central, Pa., over North Carolina State.

Considered among the top five point prospects in the nation, Shakur averaged 18.8 points as a junior. The Wildcats recently gained the nation's top power forward prospect, Ndudi Ebi of Houston-Westbury Christian, Tex., over Duke, Texas and Houston. Ebi averaged 23 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks last season.

Top 100 forward/center Hassan Fofana of Conkary, Guinea/Worcester-Holy Name, Mass/Hargrave MA, Va., has committed to Maryland over UConn, Virginia, Purdue, Memphis and St. John's, among others.

Considered the nation's top junior college forward, Nick DeWitz of Chandler-Dobson, Ariz/Utah Valley State College, Utah/Mesa CC, Ariz., is headed to Iowa over Indiana and Florida State.

Rhode Island gained a commitment from center J.R. Moore of Portland, Ore/Worcester Academy, Mass.

Northwestern gained a commitment from center Vince Scott of Phoenix-Greenway, Ariz., over Princeton.

New Mexico has a pledge from forward Justin Benson of Houston-Gulf Shores Academy, Tex., over Houston, DePaul, Pepperdine, St. Louis and Kent State.

New Mexico State has a reported pledge from forward David Fisher of Dallas-South Oak Cliff, Tex.

James Madison gained a commitment from center Eddie Green of Winston-Salem/Reynolds, NC., over George Mason.

Arkansas-Little Rock pledged guard Brandon Freeman of Greenwood, SC/Chipola CC, Fla.

Forward Levi Rost of Lansing CC, Mich., committed to Western Michigan.

Guard Tyson Schnitker of Robinson, Ill., recently picked Indiana State.

Guard Ryan Paradise of Naperville-Central, Ill., who averaged 19 points as a junior, recently committed to Northern Illinois.

St. Bonaventure pledged forward/guard Dan Cage of Indianapolis-Bishop Chatard, Ind., over Furman, NC-Wilmington and Wright State.
