What was Larry King thinking?
Page 2 staff

As usual, a lot of strange stuff is happening in the world of sports -- and in the real world, for that matter. So, Page 2 is here once again to try to make sense of all the weirdness with another edition of "What the Heck Are They Thinking?"

Larry King, Heather Mills
Larry King gets a leg up on Heather Mills.
We've tried to figure out what some prominent folks might be thinking -- if anything -- and the best we could do was come up with multiple possibilities, all equally plausible. So, as always, we are asking for your help. Check out the options for each questionable act or quote, and vote in the poll to move on to yet another strange story.

What the heck was CNN talk-show host Larry King thinking when Heather Mills-McCartney, wife of former Beatle Paul McCartney, took off her artificial leg and handed it to him during a broadcast of "Larry King Live"?

A. "Imagine there's no leg there ... it's easy if you try."

B. "Paul, if the Beatles were around today, would you write a song called, 'I Wanna Hold Your Artificial Leg'?"

C. "Adam Sandler's performance in 'Punch-Drunk Love' is a real tour de force."

D. "Folks, if you caress no other artificial leg this year, make it Heather's."

E. "And I always thought nothing could be weirder than Brando's appearance?"

F. "This might make my heart skip a few beats if I weren't using Garlique, the natural herbal supplement ... Garlique as in unique."
