A. "I would've sent my other kid to the plate, but he was only working on three day's rest."

B. "His mother was right. The dugout is no place for a child. I should've kept him out in McCovey Cove."

C. "My boy's gonna be one heckuva catcher some day. Look at the way he blocks the plate."
