Purdue senior quarterback Drew Brees threw for 3,393 yards and 24 touchdown passes as he led the Boilermakers to the Rose Bowl for the first time since 1966.


	Drew Brees led Purdue to its first Rose Bowl in 34 years.

But Page 2 wanted to know a little more about Brees than just statistics. We recently asked the Heisman candidate 10 questions to get a little insight into his personality.

1. Who are the three people you'd invite to a dinner party?
John Wayne, Joe Montana and whoever's picking up the check.

2. What is the best movie you've ever seen and why?
Braveheart because it shows struggle.

3. What is the one book you'd take to a deserted island with you?
Old Yeller.

4. What are the last three CDs you bought?
I can't remember the last CDs I've bought, but I do like all kinds of music.

5. What is your biggest superstition?
I top the bust of Jack Mollenkopf (former Purdue football coach and Athletic Hall of Famer) on the bill of the hat as I enter the Mollenkopf Athletic Center. In and out, I've always got to touch it.

6. Complete this sentence: "When I think of the Heisman Trophy, the first thing I think of is ..."
Teams win Heismans more than players. You can be a great player and if your team doesn't win, then you're probably not going to be in contention.

7. What would be the first thing you'd buy after signing an NFL contract?
A steak dinner.

8. What is your favorite junk food?
Tootsie Rolls.

9. What is one moment in history that you wish you could have seen?
Crazy Horse beating Custer at the Battle of Little Big Horn.

10. What will be the biggest difference between college football and the NFL?
The speed of the game.
