Page 2 tennis fans love the heavy metal racket wielded by Andy "Kid" Roddick.
In another close vote in The Berman Files, Page 2 readers have decided tennis phenom Andy Roddick should be nicknamed "Kid" Roddick.

The moniker that pays tribute to rocker Kid Rock and 18-year-old Roddick's youth. "Kid" picked up 349 votes (21.7 percent) to beat out "Lightning" Roddick (327 votes, 20.3 percent) by just 22 ballots.

Rounding out the top five were "Ace Rod" (264 votes, 16.4 percent), "Hurricane Andrew" (206 votes, 12.8 percent) and "Rowdy" Roddick (140 votes, 8.6 percent).

From Thursday to Friday, 1,607 votes were cast.

ESPN nickname guru Chris Berman said "sometimes the best nicknames are the easiest" and therefore, his favorite was Andy "Hot" Roddick. Berman gave honorable mention to Andy "Cradle will" Roddick in deference to Billy Idol.

Page 2 editors also liked "Kid" Roddick, as well as the "A-Rodicator" and "Hurricane Andrew."
