Here's a look at the second award:

Who gets the ESPY for the Coolest Athlete Alive?

Kobe and Vanessa Bryant
Wife Vanessa and a bunch of other folks think Kobe's pretty cool.
Curt Schilling: Rickey Henderson. Even when he does dumb stuff he's still cool.

Wayne Gretzky: As a kid I was partial to Bjorn Borg. He took his athleticism to another level. He was very emotional, but he kept it all inside. But there are a lot of cool athletes out there.

Jason Sehorn: Kobe Bryant. I mean he just won his third championship, and he just has this air of cool about him. He doesn't stick his foot in his mouth, and he is very professional. And he just dominates everyone.

Snoop Dogg: Kobe Bryant. You saw what he just did. He dropped what he was doin' to give me that love and take a picture with me and sign something for my kid. I look up to him. He's younger than me, but he's such an inspiration.

James Worthy: It's gotta be Tiger Woods, man. He personifies what cool, calm and collectiveness is as an athlete -- particularly under pressure and particularly when he's challenged. To me, he's just the epitome of cool. He's the coolest dresser. I'd like to be Tiger for a day -- or for just one swing.

Gary Payton: There are a lot of guys out there right now who are setting the trends. In basketball, I think you've got to pick Shaq. He's certainly doing pretty well right now. He's one of the funniest guys out there, he's really comical and kidlike with all the guys, and he gets everybody's attention.

Penny Marshall: It's still Michael Jordan. That hasn't changed. The way he presents himself is just with so much class.

John Madden: Muhammad Ali. He's really The Greatest. Football is my life and my passion, and everything that I do. But as a sports fan, I'm probably a bigger fan of boxing than anything, and I have been all my life. I walked down that red carpet tonight, and I was behind Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier, and I thought to myself, this is pretty good.

Bootsy Collins: That would have to be Shaq. He's just got this natural ability. It seems like he's takin' whatever he wants right now. My hat goes off to him.

Paul Pierce: I liked John McEnroe when he used to play. But Magic Johnson, he was the first guy I idolized.

Lisa Leslie: Kobe Bryant or Shaquille O'Neal. They are so well-rounded and just do their jobs so well. They do so much in giving back to the community and to their fans.

Derek Fisher: I have to go with Shaq. I know my opinion is biased. Obviously, I see him more than I see other guys, but he's a guy who sets his own rules and does things his own way. And he says what he wants to say.

Jennifer Capriati: Tiger Woods is a pretty cool guy.

Dennis Franz: I'm so tired of answering Tiger Woods to everything that I have to change. I was just oohing and aahing over Sarah Hughes. I gotta say, I just think she is wonderful.

David Spade: I like Curt Schilling. I'm a Diamondbacks guy. He just kicks ass. He seems like a good ol' boy.

Evander Holyfield: What's the girl that just won the thing? Serena Williams, that's it.

Sugar Ray Leonard: Tiger Woods comes to mind. Serena Williams comes to mind, too. I'll take them both.
