Terry Sawchuck's goaltending records lasted for more than 30 years before Patrick Roy broke them. Roy's marks might not last half as long.
If Martin Brodeur maintains his .621 career regular-season winning percentage and his average of 71 appearances over the past seven seasons, he will break Patrick Roy's records for regular-season wins, games played and minutes within the next six seasons.
However, considering Brodeur is utilized more and has behind a more defensively sound team for most of his career, we leveled the ice surface and calculated Brodeur's statistics after an equal number of games played.
