TAMPA BAY -- Tampa Bay Lightning center Brian Holzinger is expected to be sidelined 3-to-4 months after breaking his left leg during an informal workout Tuesday.

Holzinger missed 52 games last season with a left shoulder injury. He finished with a goal and two assists in 23 games.

Holzinger has 85 goals and 127 assists in 459 career games with Buffalo and Tampa Bay.
