Isles' deal breaks up Jonsson brothers

 UNIONDALE, N.Y. -- The New York Islanders traded first-year center Jorgen Jonsson to the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim on Saturday for center Johan Davidsson and a conditional draft pick.

Jonsson, 27, joined his brother, Kenny, this season on the Islanders from the Swedish Elite League. He has 11 goals and 17 assists in 68 games and was NHL Player of the Week on Feb. 14 for scoring three points in three consecutive games.

Davidsson, 24, was originally drafted by Anaheim in the second round, 28th overall, in the 1994 draft. He has spent the majority of this season with Cincinnati of the AHL, where he had nine goals and 40 assists in 56 games. He has had goal in five games this season with the Mighty Ducks.
