GREENVILLE, S.C. (Ticker) -- Tyrone Garner stopped 25 shots and Luke Sellers had a goal and an assist to help the Greenville Grrrowl beat the Dayton Bombers, 4-1, and take a commanding two games to none lead in the Kelly Cup Finals.

Garner turned away all 20 shots he faced over the final two periods and helped stop all eight of Dayton's power-play chances to record his 10th win of the postseason.

Sellers assisted on a power-play goal by Simon Gamache 7:32 into the first period and added his fifth tally of the playoffs midway through the third. Damon Whitten and Ryan Stewart also scored for Greenville, which will travel to Dayton on Wednesday for Game 3.

Jason Sessa opened the scoring 1:55 into the contest for the Bombers, who dropped to 3-3 on the road in the playoffs. Karl Goehring gave up all four goals on 31 shots for the loss.

GAME 1: Greenville 6, Dayton 2
GREENVILLE, S.C. (Ticker) -- David Bell was one of four Greenville players to score in the third period to lead the Grrrowl past the Dayton Bombers, 6-2, in the first game of their best-of-seven Kelly Cup Finals series.

The 25-year-old defenseman established a 3-1 lead when he beat goaltender Karl Goehring 3:57 into the final stanza for his first career playoff goal. Jonathan Roy, Colin Pepperall, Steve Rymsha and Sean Venedam each recorded a goal and an assist for Greenville, which produced its second consecutive six-goal game.

Tyrone Garner turned aside 14 first-period shots, finished with 30 saves and held Dayton to 1-for-10 on the power play in the victory, improving to 9-2 in the postseason. Jonathon Gauthier and Tom Nemeth scored in the defeat for the Bombers, who suffered just their second setback in 11 playoff games. Goehring, who game into the contest leading all playoff netminders with a 1.63 goals-against average, surrendered six goals on 29 shots in defeat.
