CALGARY, Alberta (AP) -- Mark down the Calgary Flames as supporters of the NHL's new four-on-four overtime rules. Tommy Albelin capped Calgary's wild comeback by scoring with four seconds left in overtime Wednesday night, giving the Flames a 5-4 win over the Nashville Predators. Albelin, in the high slot, turned and batted a bouncing puck out of the air past goalie Mike Dunham to give Calgary it first home victory this season. "We've won almost every overtime we've gone into, so as a team we have a lot of confidence once we get to overtime," Albelin said. "We have some good players that can really handle the puck well and like the four-on-four style." All four of Calgary's wins have come in overtime. Calgary's Phil Housley tied it by scoring two goals 39 seconds apart in the final two minutes of regulation. Housley cut Nashville's lead to 4-3 at 18:44 of the third, converting a pass from Andrei Nazarov. Then, with goaltender Grant Fuhr pulled for extra skater, Housley tied it at 19:23 by flipping the puck past a sprawled Dunham during a scramble in front of the Predators' net. "It's going to be a lot of stress on the coaches if we don't start getting a lead," Housley said. Jeff Shantz and Clarke Wilm also scored for the Flames, who ended a five-game home winless streak (0-4-1). Cliff Ronning and Tom Fitzgerald each scored twice for the Predators, who have lost four in a row. The overtime loss sent Nashville home with just one point from its four-game Western road trip. "We played a solid game for a good portion of it but then we ended up trying to weather a bunch of their storms," Nashville coach Barry Trotz said. "Give them credit, they found a way to win and we found a way to lose a point." Calgary outshot Nashville 45-21, including 35-13 in the final 40 minutes of regulation. Ronning scored twice in the second period as the Predators opened a 3-1 lead despite being outshot 19-7. Ronning opened the scoring at 6:13 on a power play when he circled into the high shot and fired a wrist shot through a crowd past Fuhr's stick side. Thirty-three seconds later, Fitzgerald made it 2-0 by putting a centering pass from Greg Johnson past Fuhr from the top of the crease. Shantz drew Calgary back to within a goal before Ronning's second of the night made it 3-1. Calgary closed the gap to 3-2 on a short-handed goal by Wilm 1:19 into the third, but Fitzgerald put the Predators ahead by two at 14:23 off of a pretty give-and-go with Darren Turcotte. | ALSO SEE NHL Scoreboard Nashville Clubhouse Calgary Clubhouse RECAPS Washington 3 Ottawa 1
