Bills
What I can tell you is this: Anyone who comes to Rochester, N.Y. should try, at least once, a "garbage plate." The places to go are Nick Tahou's on the West Side, or Bay Hots on the East Side. Sloppy and nasty looking, but mmm mmm good!

Dolphins
Here in Davie, Fla. resides the extremely well kept campus of Nova Southeastern University. A small school, no doubt. But what you may not see behind the school is the best NFL team's training camp; the Miami Dolphins. The facilities are very nice and on a normal sunny day there is nothing like watching Ricky Williams running down the field, and Jason Taylor chit-chattin with his brother-in-law Zach Thomas. Anyway, the area has a few good spots to hit. The Sawgrass Mills Mall is only a few miles away (West of Davie off of the Sawgrass Expressway). Also, if you find a Hop's Bar and Grill, you must go in and have a Brewmaster steak! They also brew their own beer and I highly recommend the Hammerhead Red if you like dark brewsky. I suppose that's all the time I have now. See you at the 'Camp of Champs' … .

Davie, Fla.

Patriots
I can't believe the Patriots are not practicing at Bryant college anymore! But I guess they have some state of the art facilities up in Foxboro now. I guess I'll be happy with whatever makes them start winning again.

Smithfield, R.I.

Jets
The best thing about attending the New York Jets training camp is being so close to the field and being able to hear the players' voices and talk about a play. You can see the action right in front of you. My son Drew loves it and he gets to see the "huge players" as he calls them up front and personal. He was even able to get autographs after practice. He also loved the "Jetsfest" the Jets hold out in the parking lot at Hofstra University. There are games for the kids such like throwing a football through a hoop shaped as receivers arms; 20-yard dashes where someone actually calculates your time; and his favorite is the field goal kick where a replica field and goal posts are set up for the youngsters to kick. It's all a great time for young and old. It's great to see football after a long cold winter and it's a very exciting atmosphere to be part of.

I hope to see all the Jets fans out there this camp as always.

Ravens
Every year I take my family to Ravens training camp at McDaniel College in Westminter, MD on their "Family Fun Day." It's almost like a festival-type atmosphere with a bunch of things to do for the whole family. They have a mock game and then afterwards have an autograph signing session for fans to get up close to players and get some autographs and pictures. There are souvenir stands and food and beverage stands for fans to check out. They also have the NFL Experience games, activities and obstacle courses for fans of all ages to enjoy, and the Ravens mascots and cheerleaders are there, too. Plus when else can you get within a couple feet of the big name players like Ray Lewis, Jamal Lewis, Todd Heap, Peter Boulware, Jonathen Ogden, etc? The players are very accomodating to autograph seekers which is very admirable. You know the last thing those guys want to do is stand around in the sweltering heat signing countless autographs after just finishing practice!

Bengals
Bengals training camp is located in Georgetown, Ky. in the heart of thoroughbred country. Camp is just 10 minutes from Lexington and no trip here would be complete without a trip to the horse racing capital of the world. While you're there, check out the Kentucky Horse Park.
Joe
Cincinnati, Ohio

Browns
Hey come on over to the Browns training camp. What makes it special is as always, the Cleveland fans -- it's like a regular season game there.

Hartville, Ohio

Steelers
I take my sons to training camp every year. The Steelers always set up the "Steeler Experience" during training camp. This is a place for the kids to get their face painted, or do some football stunts, or even buy some Steeler merchandise. It is held at St. Vincent's College in Latrobe, Pa. and there have been several years where there's been an Air Show and the Blue Angles do a fly over. Rolling Rock Brewery is located there as well and a tour is always nice, and in the evening you can take in a couple movies at the local "Drive-In." The players always take time for photos and to sign autographs. We get a cabin at one of the nearby state parks and spend time trail riding in a Jeep, or hiking in the morning and spend the afternoons at training camp. There are amusement parks nearby as well, so if you are a Steelers fan, spend a week like we do, there's plenty of fun things to do while you watch your Steelers practice.

Texans
There's lots to do in Houston. You've got the Johnson Space Center for the family; the Kemah Boardwalk; Clear Lake; Galveston is just an hour down the road. For nightlife, you've got the Richmond Strip, as well as downtown. You can take in a baseball game at Minute Maid Park.
Thunder
Houston, Texas

Colts
The Indianapolis Colts training camp has to be one of the best around, held on the beautiful campus of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. One of the finest engineering schools in the entire nation, it is loaded with state-of-the-art equipment for the players to use and manned by some of the most professional cleaning ladies and security guards available. A restaurant of note would have to be Homie's 'Que and Grill located on South 13th Street. Home to the finest ribs in the midwest. From there you can take a trip through the Clabber Girl Baking Powder museum and across the street is the beautiful Hulman Center where Larry Bird nearly led the legendary 1979 Indiana State Sycamores to the national title. You can finish the day off with a refreshing drive down First Street admiring the scenery and cool refreshing Wabash River.
Andrew Orman
Terre Haute, Ind.

Jaguars
The Jaguars have taken strides to make each training camp an experience for the fans. They provide concessions; shops in which you can purchase the latest team gear and an opportunity to get an up close view of your favorite player. This year will be even better than the last. The team will unveil new practice fields that will allow the fans an even closer look at the team because there will be no fences to block any view. Jack Del Rio has made a huge impact on the city and team with his new aggressive approach. He understands that getting the fans involved early by allowing a 30-minute period after each practice to get autographs will only add to the passion the fans have for the Jaguars. The practices are held twice a day starting at 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The early and late starts keep the players and fans out of the hot mid-day sun.

Jacksonville, Fla.

Titans
The Titans camp is great. They are based in Nashville and training camp is at Titans headquarters just a few miles from town, not at some college you have never heard of hundreds of miles away from the home stadium. You can get right up on the sidelines of the three fields and see your favorite players up close and personal. After the practice, selected players (who are named in the local paper the day before) stick around and sign autographs and chat with the fans. It is great to see how the team works separately in order to work together on game day. Definitely take a day to visit your favorite teams training camp!

Broncos
As a kid growing up in Denver I don't think I ever missed a Broncos training camp. My dad started taking me to Ft. Collins, Co. when I was only months old (my mom still has pictures of me as infant being held by Lyle Alzado). Every summer dad and I would head out for Broncos training camp, which eventually moved to Greeley. It gave us a chance to get a look at the new talent and for me to see my childhood hero John Elway up close. It is a shame the Broncos have decided to hold training camp at their headquarters. There are hundreds of kids who won't have the chance I did to head out to camp in late July to see their Broncos. What a shame!

Chargers
The Chargers' UC-San Diego camp is/was by far the best place to train. During the summer months, temperatures stay at a cool 75 degrees thanks to the ocean breezes from the nearby Pacific. Players maintained their freshness and energy and practices are crisp and animated.

So why then did the Chargers' brass uproot and move to Carson, near South Central L.A.? A money-driven foolish decision indeed. Players will be forced to inhale pollutants from nearby oil refineries and battle the sun that's far more intense since the chemicals have burned a hole in the ozone directly above L.A.

Carlsbad, Calif.

Chiefs
If you want to get a good bite to eat in River Falls, Wis. after watching the Chiefs, go to the Westwind Supper Club at 709 North Main street on the north end of town. If you want to have a cold one stop at Jonnies Bar on Main or for a more hoppin club, Boomers just off Main on E. Elm. Sometimes you may bump into a player or two between 10 and 11 p.m. (depending on what their free hours are) at one of the bars on Main street, seeing it is only blocks from the dorms they stay in. If you come up from down south, the Mall of America is only about 1/2 hour West.
Chad Johnson
Eau Claire, Wis.

Raiders
Although the setup at the Marriott is a little weird, the weather, the views, and the surrounding area is perfect. Fan access is limited, but overall a great place for camp.
