Here are some of the responses we've received since the rankings went up Tuesday.
Also, message to all you Saints fans out there -- that No. 3 that is next to the Bucs and Saints means that they are tied at third, not that the Bucs are ranked ahead of the Saints.
Pack attack
Are you kidding me! Green Bay (5-1) beats a 13-3 team on the road and then the beats the defending super bowl champs on the road and we get ranked 6th. It's not like these were even close games. We crushed both teams. Give us some RESPECT!!!

Why are the Packers so low on the rankings? They are 5-1 with a patchwork defense that started at the beginning of the regular season. The Packers' one big free agent signing, DE Joe Johnson, was finally getting into the rhythm of the defensive schemes and making an impact when he got hurt. Starting corners and safeties (McKenzie, Sharper, Williams, etc.) have all been banged up and missing time yet this team is 5-1.
Sherman and his staff are doing a helluva job keeping this D together and did a number on the Patriots in New England. Granted, NE is reeling a bit but the Pack still dominated on the road against the Super Bowl Champs.
What gives? Where's the respect?

I knew you guys would eventually come to your senses and put the Fish on top. Quality wins over Denver, Indianapolis and New England only solidify their position. A balanced offensive attack and strong defense is a Super Bowl winning formula. Don't think they will miss a beat with Ray Lucas behind center. Remember, he led the Jets (yes, the Jets) to a 6-3 record a few years back. Need I say more. And I don't want to hear the Raider fans crying that they fell out of the top spot. You lost to a winless team with a third string QB starting!!

Wait till you all see how much BETTER the Dolphins are with Ray Lucas at the helm. He has a far stronger arm than Jay Fiedler, which means defenses have to respect the long-ball and cannot key on Ricky Williams as much. You're about to watch the Dolphins' offense open up to full throttle.

Give the Niners some love
How do you rank the Eagles above the Niners? At least Garcia and the gang have won their road games. If they pull it of in N.O. this weekend, they should be ranked no lower than the top five. Raiders at No. 2 spot???? They looked lost on the turf in St. Louis. I realize this is not an exact science, but come on!!!

Raven mad
In reference to your comment on last week's Raven game against the Colts:
A BS 'homer' call by the officials is a BS 'homer' call by the officials whether it happens with 10 minutes left or one minute left.

Steel power
You sports writers kill me. You are so quick to jump on the "team of the week" as the best. Miami always starts strong and is out of the playoff hunt come December. Pittsburgh always starts slow as they did this year. The hardest part of their schedule was the first two games, New England and Oakland (and the Steelers were in those two games except for turnovers galore from the offense). Come December, the Steelers will be a force to be reckoned with.

Bad Bengals
I was a little shocked to find the Bengals ranked number 32. Are you required to include all the teams? They certainly do not deserve to be ranked, maybe you should consider a 'guest' appearance by a NCAA team to take their place.

San Diego Super Chargers
I would like to dedicate this to the Chiefs fan who last week stated that Kansas City would be #1 in the power rankings after winning their next three games. The Chargers are for real and they can play with (and beat) any team in the NFL.
