Dawson did not return, and Steelers coach Bill Cowher said,
"He's probably done for the year."
Dawson, playing for the first time since Oct. 17, was injured on
a play that saw Mike Tomczak complete a 28-yard pass to Kordell
Stewart on the Steelers' first drive. Dawson limped off the field
and sought treatment from team doctors.
Dawson started 170 consecutive games before getting hurt, at the
time the second-longest streak in the NFL. It is the first serious
injury of his 12-season career.
