Here's the latest news on key injuries going into Week 13:

The Bills are healthy heading into Sunday's game against the Dolphins. The only question was cornerback Antoine Winfield, who has a leg injury. He has been able to practice this week and will be back as the starter.
The Dolphins added free safety Brock Marion to the injury report as questionable because of back spasms. If he can't play, Shawn Wooden might get the start. Coach Dave Wannstedt still hasn't made a decision whether or not Jay Fiedler will be Ray Lucas' backup Sunday in Buffalo. Fiedler continues to practice, even taking snaps with the first team. Wide receiver Cris Carter practiced again Friday, but the Dolphins may wait until next week to get him back in games. Defensive tackle Larry Chester was added to the injury list Friday as probable with a hamstring injury.
The Jets only question mark is fullback Richie Anderson, but he is expected to play despite an ankle injury. Guard Dave Szott may get a chance to make his debut after coming back from a knee reconstruction five months ago. If he starts, the Jets will deactivate J.P. Machado or rookie Jonathan Goodwin. Each of those two players have started at left guard this season. The Jets visit the Raiders on Monday night.

After placing Ray Lewis and Brandon Stokley on injured reserve this week, the Ravens needed some good news on the injury front this week. They got it Friday when cornerback Chris McAlister practiced and appears to be ready to return to his starting job after missing a couple of games with an ankle injury. Left guard Edwin Mulitalo (chest) also practice and will be in the starting lineup. His backup, Casey Rabach, will also be available. He had been listed probable with a back injury. The only Raven who will miss this game is defensive end Michael McCrary, whose chronically bad knee had another checkup. He's expected to be placed on the injured reserve list sometime in the next couple of weeks.
The Bengals downgraded running back Brandon Bennett (knee) and defensive end Vaughn Booker (ribs) from questionable to doubtful Friday after they didn't practice because of their injuries. Center Rich Braham, who is listed as probable, also didn't practice Friday, but coach Dick LeBeau is optimistic he will play against the Bengals on Sunday. Safety Mark Roman (knee) and linebacker Adrian Ross (knee) practiced Friday and should be able to play.
Browns cornerback Daylon McCutcheon didn't practice for the third straight day because of his broken thumb. Listed as questionable, McCutcheon is expected to be replaced by Anthony Henry. Running back Jamel White appears to have recovered from the shoulder injury that kept him out since Nov. 3. He practiced all week. William Green has taken over as the starter during White's absence. Safety Devin Bush (hamstring) and linebacker Kevin Bentley (hand) are expected to play.
The Steelers are expected to start Kordell Stewart even though Tommy Maddox is healthy enough to be the backup for Sunday's game in Jacksonville. Stewart has been getting most of the work this week. No official announcement has been made, though, by coach Bill Cowher. Guard Kendall Simmons was upgraded from doubtful to questionable on his sprained ankle, but he isn't expected to start. The right guard assignment goes Keydrick Vincent, who got most of the work this week. James Farrior returns to his inside linebacker position now that his knee is feeling better. The Steelers will be without center Jeff Hartings, who has a knee injury. Chris Fuamatu-Ma'afala ran only scout team plays and may not be in uniform. Safety Mike Logan practiced this week after missing a game with a groin injury. He should return to the nickel pass defense. The Steelers visit the Jaguars.

The Texans cut offensive linemen Char-ron Dorsey to clear a roster space. They are currently at 52 players. They made a couple of changes in their starting lineup. Jeff Posey starts at outside linebacker for Keith Mitchell. Cameron Spikes starts at left guard for DeMingo Graham. Quarterback David Carr's ankle is okay even though he is limited in some of his movement.
The Colts are in pretty good shape heading into Sunday's game against the Texans. Defensive tackle Brad Scioli practiced Friday and should be able to play despite a shoulder injury. Raheem Brock, questionable with an ankle, will also be available. Halfback Edgerrin James practiced for the second consecutive day and will start. Out for the Colts are defensive tackle James Cannida (knee), fullback Detron Smith (hamstring) and linebacker David Thornton (knee).
Jaguars safety Donovin Darius missed his third consecutive day of practice because of a shoulder injury. Listed as questionable, Darius is expected to be replaced by Ainsley Battles, who would be making his third start. The receiving corps is banged up, but the Jaguars may have their top three receivers available Sunday. Patrick Johnson did more work Friday. He's missed four of the past five games with an abdominal injury. Bobby Shaw (toe) and Jimmy Smith (shin) have been limited in practice this week but will play.
Titans quarterback Steve McNair couldn't practice Friday and his status will stay in question until gametime. McNair has a cartilage problem around his ribs. It has been too painful for him to practice, so Neil O'Donnell has been taking the snaps in practice. So far, McNair hasn't taken a painkilling injection for the injury. That might not happen, but if it does, that won't be decided until game time. The Titans visit the Giants Sunday. Defensive end Jevon Kearse hasn't practiced all week and won't be able to play. He hasn't played since the opener when he broke his leg. Safety Rich Coady (hamstring), wide receiver Kevin Dyson (hamstring) and wide receiver Darrell Hill (ankle) are out. Middle linebacker Randall Godfrey took all the snaps with the first team defense that past couple of days and will start.

Broncos coach Mike Shanahan announced Friday that Steve Beuerlein will start Sunday's game against the Chargers. He will make a game time decision whether Brian Griese, coming back from knee surgery, would be the backup or the third string quarterback. It will be a game time decision whether tight end Shannon Sharpe, coming back from a dislocated elbow, will play. He has been practicing all week. The Broncos visit the Chargers on Sunday.
It doesn't look at though cornerback William Bartee will be able to be healthy enough in time to start Sunday's game against the Cardinals. Ray Crockett replaced him last Sunday in Seattle and is expected to start this week. The defensive line will be without tackle Derrick Ransom (foot) and end Rich Owens (groin). Linebacker Larry Atkins will be out with a knee injury. Eric Downing will start for Ransom.
The Raiders will be without two starters on defense -- defensive end Tony Bryant (neck) and safety Derrick Gibson (calf). Anthony Dorsett Jr. will start Monday night against the Jets as safety for Gibson, while Trace Armstrong has been starting for Bryant at defensive end. Cornerback Clarence Love, who is questionable with a knee injury, may also miss the game.
Wide receiver Tim Dwight didn't practice Friday because of the rib injury that has him listed as questionable, but Dwight expects to play for the Chargers against the Broncos. He'd better, because wide receiver Curtis Conway is going to miss the game because of the shoulder injury he suffered last Sunday; Conway had been listed as probable all week, but his inability to practice caused his rapid downgrade. Reche Caldwell is expected to start for Conway. Damion McIntosh, who has an ankle injury, will return to his left tackle job just in time, as Ed Ellis, McIntosh's replacement, will miss the game with an ankle injury. Vaughn Parker, the starting right tackle, will be out with an elbow problem. The offensive line probably won't have backup guard Michael Keathley, who has an ankle injury.

The Giants don't expect to have defensive tackle Cornelius Griffin on the defensive line because of an ankle injury. He's listed as questionable but hasn't done much in practice this week. The Giants also downgraded cornerback William Peterson, who hasn't fully recovered from a concussion suffered last week. He's now questionable. Jason Sehorn would start if Peterson can't play. The offense will be helped by the returns of center Chris Bober (biceps) and wide receiver Ron Dixon (knee). Both practiced Friday and should be back in the starting lineup. Dixon starts ahead of rookie Daryl Jones. Wide receiver Herman Moore was added to the injury report Thursday with a hamstring. He was limited in practice Friday. Tight end Dan Campbell was added as probable with a groin.
Eagles coach Andy Reid summed up the injury situation quickly after Friday's practice. Quarterbacks Donovan McNabb (broken leg) and Koy Detmer (dislocated left elbow) and defensive end Derrick Burgess (foot) are out. Reid said that everybody else should be able to play. A.J. Feeley gets the start at quarterback. Halfback Dorsey Levens (foot and hand), cornerback Bobby Taylor (calf) and defensive end Brandon Whiting (back) had been listed as questionable. All three practiced and will be able to play against the Rams on Sunday. The Eagles host the Rams on Sunday.

Bears quarterback Jim Miller finally took some snaps with the offense Friday. He was with the first team five minutes throwing mostly short passes. Miller, who can't do much throwing during the week because of elbow tendonitis, will start at quarterback against the Packers. Henry Burris will be his backup because Chris Chandler will miss the game with an ankle injury. Right tackle James Williams, who is questionable with a right ankle injury, practiced Friday and should be able to keep his streak of 130 games going. Tight end John Davis didn't practice Friday because of a back injury.
Packers defensive tackle Gilbert Brown didn't practice on his sore left ankle and remains very questionable for Sunday's game against the Bears. Rod Walker would start for him. Brown hasn't been able to practice much this week because of the ankle injury. Defensive end Vonnie Holliday practiced and will be able to play. He recently had knee surgery. Cornerbacks Tod McBride (knee) and Tyrone Williams (shoulder) practiced the past two days.
The Vikings aren't sure if free safety Ronnie Bradford will be able to play on his toe injury. He's questionable and might be replaced by Corey Chavous. The Vikings added wide receiver D'Wayne Bates to the injury list as probable because of a knee injury. He practiced Friday and will play. Halfback Michael Bennett will be able play on the ankle injury that put his status in question early in the week. The Vikings play the Falcons.

The Falcons defense has worked without defensive end Travis Hall most of the season, and it will have to do the same Sunday against the Vikings. Hall will miss the game because of a foot injury. Ed Jasper will start at nose tackle, but he will move over to Hall's end position, allowing Ellis Johnson the chance to move into the nose. Johnson has been one of the Falcons surprise stars on defense this year. Linebacker John Holecek returned to practice this week after breaking an arm last Sunday, but he wont play. Chris Draft will fill in for him. But Holecek may be able to play next week. Backup cornerback Kevin Mathis will miss because of a hamstring injury.
The Panthers ended Lamar Smith's reign as the starting running back by giving him a paid leave of absence for the remainder of the season. Smith was charged with driving while under the influence Thursday along with being charged with reckless driving and speeding. Smith had 737 yards on 207 carries and seven touchdowns. The team has had so many incidents of late that they aren't tolerating any off the field troubles. Next week, for example, defensive end Julius Peppers is expected to lose his appeal for violations of the substance policy and be suspended for the remainder of the season. Dee Brown is expected to take over as the starting halfback. Rodney Peete, despite a torn tendon in his middle finger, will start. He missed Thursday's practice because of the finger, but coach John Fox has decided to stay with him as the quarterback. What he hasn't decided is who is the backup. Chris Weinke may be replaced by rookie Randy Fasani as the backup, but that won't be announced until game time when the Panthers play the Browns. Linebackers Dan Morgan (shoulder) and Hannibal Navies (ankle) didn't practice and aren't expected to play. They are expected to be replaced by Will Witherspoon and Brian Allen.
Saints coach Jim Haslett, preparing for Sunday night's NFC South showdown against the Buccaneers, scheduled a couple of evening practices Friday and Saturday. Part of the reason is to prepare the team for a night game, but other reason was to provide extra treatment time for three injured players -- halfback Deuce McAllister (ankle), right guard LeCharles Bentley (ankle) and tight end David Sloan (back). McAllister remains very questionable because of a high ankle sprain that still gives him problems running. Playing on turf in the Superdome doesn't help either. McAllister can't make all the runs because the ankle aches when he makes cuts, and the best he can do is limited work in practice. Haslett is hoping that the extra treatment time will allow McAllister's status to be a game-day decision. Bentley has also been limited, so it's likely that the Saints will stay with Spencer Folau of right guard and Victor Riley at right tackle. Sloan's back started to bother him Wednesday, and he was added to the injury list Thursday as questionable. Wide receiver Jerome Pathon, who is questionable because of a concussion, is still groggy, but he may be able to play. McAllister and Bentley tried their best during Friday's practice. Both showed a willingness to fight through the pain. That at least convinced Haslett that both have a chance to play, but there is no guarantee.
It doesn't look as though defensive tackle Anthony McFarland will be able to make his return from his broken forearm. He was downgraded from questionable to doubtful on Friday. Wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson, who has sore ribs, practiced Friday and was upgraded to probable. Backup running backs Aaron Stecker (hamstring) and Jameel Cook (ankle) practiced and despite being listed as questionable, should be able to play. Shaun King has replaced Rob Johnson as the backup quarterback for the Bucs.

The Cardinals downgraded cornerback Duane Starks from questionable to doubtful because of ankle and leg problems. He is expected to be replaced by Renaldo Hill, who is just coming back from a groin injury. The Cardinals are down to a third string outside linebacker making his first start. LeVar Woods is expected to start Sunday against the Chiefs because Levar Fisher's knee is bothering him and Rob Fredrickson is out with a neck injury. Center Mike Gruttadauria is out with a knee injury. Jason Starkey starts for him. Defensive end Thomas Burke had knee surgery this week and will go on the injured reserve list next week.
The 49ers upgraded left tackle Derrick Deese from questionable to probable. He has a high ankle sprain. They also removed cornerback Mike Rumpf from the injury list. He had been probable with a calf injury. Out for Sunday's game against the Seahawks are halfback Kevan Barlow (knee) and safeties Zack Bronson (foot) and Ronnie Heard (ankle).
The Seahawks will start Chris Terry at right tackle over Floyd Womack, who is doubtful with an ankle. Womack didn't practice Friday. It will be a gametime decision whether or not halfback Maurice Morris will play. He didn't practice because of his hamstring injury. Don't expect middle linebacker Isaiah Kacyvenski to play. He's also coming off a high ankle sprain.
Rams quarterback Kurt Warner took all of the first team snaps Friday and will start against the Eagles on Sunday. Marc Bulger, though, is still bothered by the injured finger in his right hand and probably will be the third quarterback behind Jamie Martin. Halfback Marshall Faulk could only do a little bit of work but not much Friday. He's got a high ankle sprain. It will be a game day decision whether or not he will play. He has missed two games with the ankle injury.
