The Redskins built a 13-ponit lead against the struggling Cowboys' offense.	LaVar Arrington had a monster game. Arrington returned one fumble for a TD, and another recovery set up another score.	The Cowboys need a situation where the players are accountable to the coach first and not the owner. If the Cowboys get Parcells, they probably have a better chance to develop into a playoff contender next season, because he's a proven winner.

The Bills opened a quick 20-0 lead.	Drew Bledsoe, who finished his first year in Buffalo on a solid note with two touchdowns -- one passing and one rushing.	The Bengals need a change in ownership, a new general manager, and an improved player personnel and development department. Without a change in those three areas, it won't matter much what their personnel is.

The Browns stopped the Falcons four straight times on the goal line in the final minute.	William Green, who helped the Browns clinch a playoff berth with 178 yards rushing and two touchdowns.	The Browns, with their late-game heroics, can put themselves in a position where they always have hope in a close game. They have lots of playmakers on offense, and I think they have a good chance to upset the Steelers next week.

The Dolphins' defense didn't play well away from home in November and December. On offense, it's amazing that they didn't continue to give the ball to Ricky Williams today.

The Saints turned the ball over down the stretch.	Terry Cousin was Mr. Takeaway, grabbing two interceptions and recovering a fumble.	This is the second year in a row that such a late-season collapse has occurred for the Saints, and I think the problem is the defense. If your defense can't shut opponents down in November and December, you won't be playing in the playoffs.

Charlie Garner, who was the bulk of Oakland's offense. Playing in constant rain, Garner put up 135 yards on 29 carries and scored one TD.
