Shaun Alexander busted a 27-yard touchdown run for the win in OT after Atlanta's Jay Feely missed a 36-yard field goal.	Alexander. His 127 yards and two touchdowns on 28 carries helped the Seahawks capitalize on Falcons miscues and come out with the victory.	Michael Vick needs to find ways to get other guys involved. The Falcons can't look to a second-year QB alone and put all the pressure to win on him.

Wayne Chrebet fumbled on the Bears' 14-yard line with less than two minutes to go. Roosevelt Williams recovered it and Chicago ran out the clock.	Mike Green. The Bears' safety was all over the place making plays. He finished the game with 12 tackles and forced Chrebet's fumble.	To some extent, the Bears achieved their 13-3 last year on smoke and mirrors. But they're definitely not as bad as their record this year.

Tim Couch's pass to the end zone on fourth-and-goal fell incomplete late in the fourth quarter.	Marvin Harrison. The Colts receiver broke Herman Moore's single-season reception record during the third quarter en route to 172 yards and two touchdowns on nine receptions.	I believe the Colts will go as far as the Peyton Manning-Marvin Harrison combo takes them (Harrison has been the NFL's best receiver this season).

Patrick Surtain picked off Rich Gannon with just less than two minutes left in the game.	Jason Taylor. The Dolphins defensive end was Gannon's worst nightmare. He finished the game with eight tackles, three sacks and two forced fumbles.	The Dolphins' defense earned its accolades today, keying a huge December victory.

Carlos Emmons returned a fumble 44 yards for a touchdown to put the Eagles up 24-7 in the third quarter.	A.J. Feeley. The Eagles' backup QB wasn't spectacular but he got the job done, throwing for 220 yards and two touchdowns.	Steve Spurrier has coached the 'Skins like a college team. You can't have a juggling-quarterback situation. Spurrier is dealing with professionals, not college kids.

Chad Williams intercepted a pass by David Carr with 1:57 left in the game.	Jeff Blake. Blake helped the Ravens keep their slim playoff hopes alive by throwing for 228 yards and two touchdowns.	The Texans need a running game to take the heat off QB David Carr, so they certainly could be in the market for a back.

Doug Flutie failed to complete two desperation passes into the end zone in the final 11 seconds.	Travis Henry. The Bills tailback rushed for 144 yards and two touchdowns, including the 26-yarder with less than a minute left.	What was more surprising to me than the loss was (Marty) Schottenheimer's decision to lift starting QB Drew Brees for Doug Flutie late in the game.

Jacksonville scored the final 14 points of the game after the Bengals took a 15-14 lead in the third quarter.	Mark Brunell. Just another QB who cashed in on the Bengals secondary. He finished with 223 yards and three touchdowns.	When you think about Jacksonville, you think about Brunell, WR Jimmy Smith, RB Fred Taylor and coach Tom Coughlin. I doubt if all four will be back next season.

Jason Hanson was short on a 57-yard kick with 1:51 left.	Martin Gramatica. Gramatica connected on all three of his field goal attempts, including the 38-yard game-winner.	The Lions need better players, period. That's not Marty Mornhinweg's job -- that falls squarely on the shoulders of GM Matt Millen.

Instead of kicking the PAT and going to overtime, the Vikings went for two, converting after Daunte Culpepper fumbled the snap, picked up the ball and still managed to dive into the end zone -- there were only five seconds left.	Culpepper. The Vikings QB was unstoppable all day completing 23 of 36 passes for 312 yards and two touchdowns. He was also the game's leading rusher, gaining 73 yards and scoring two more touchdowns.	The Vikings have used the past few weeks to build for next season. The Vikings believe they're a better team than their record shows, but for a number of reasons they couldn't put it together.

The Steelers turned four Panthers turnovers into 14 points.	Plexico Burress. Burress opened the scoring with an 11-yard touchdown catch. He finished the game with 120 yards receiving on six catches.	The Bucs' defense is at the top of its game, and I don't see Steelers QB Tommy Maddox being able to pick apart that D.

When Trent Green's pass to the end zone fell incomplete as time expired.	Clinton Portis. Denver's rookie racked up 130 yards and three touchdowns on the ground and had three catches for 75 yards and another score.	If the Broncos win next week, then they can talk about the playoffs more seriously. They finish the season at home against the Cardinals.

Facing fouth-and-7 on the Packers' 11, Jeff Garcia's pass fell incomplete with 22 seconds left.	Ahman Green. Even with a sore knee Green made an impact. He finished with 90 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries.	The Packers aren't at their best when Favre has to throw 40 or 50 times. They're at their best when they play a balanced game.

When the Giants put up 21 points in the first quarter.	Tiki Barber and Ron Dayne. The Giants ran all over the Cowboys. Barber had 81 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries and Dayne had 80 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries.	Jerry Jones might have wanted a coach who he could control, but it hasn't worked out. It's one thing to be a meddling owner and win Super Bowls, but it's another to be a meddling owner for a team south of .500.
