The Titans QB played another solid game completing 19 of 23 passes for 237 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed for 49 yards.	As long as Steve McNair, Eddie George and Derrick Mason are playing well, Tennessee is a formidable opponent.

His 88-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the first quarter set the tone for the rest of the day. He also returned a punt 86 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter.	If (Priest) Holmes can carry the Chiefs to the playoffs, he would make a strong case for the MVP.

The Patriots jumped out to a 17-0 first-quarter lead.	Patriots defense. The Pats kept the high-octane Bills offense in check as they put pressure on Bledsoe, forcing four interceptions and a fumble.	The Patriots are winning the way they won last season. It isn't pretty, but it works.

The Niners QB threw for 276 yards and three touchdowns and also led the team in rushing with 50 yards and another touchdown.	Either Tai Streets or J.J. Stokes must step up to keep defenses from consistently double-teaming (Terrell) Owens.

The Texans' offense produced only 47 total yards, but Glenn and the defense took care of business. Glenn returned two interceptions for a total of 135 yards, taking both to the house.	I felt coach Bill Cowher brought Tommy Maddox back too early. The Steelers could have benefited by starting Kordell Stewart another week.

Brad Johnson threw three touchdowns in the second quarter giving the Bucs a 21-3 halftime lead.	Derrick Brooks. The Bucs used Brooks to shadow Michael Vick and shut him down. Vick rushed for only 15 yards and Brooks was the main reason why.	The Bucs played inspired football, led by their defense. When you do that in December, it gets you ready for the postseason.

Phil Dawson kicked the extra point with no time on the clock. Quincy Morgan caught a 50-yard pass from Tim Couch on the final play in regulation to steal the win.	Morgan. The Browns wide receiver made only three catches all game but he made them count. He finished with 118 yards receiving and two touchdowns.	To win the division, the Browns would likely have to win out and would still need help from one of the Steelers' opponents.

Just another solid game for the Saints' running back. He finshed the day with 127 yards and three touchdowns on 32 carries.	The Ravens need a difference-maker on offense -- someone who presents a tough matchup, either at running back or wide receiver.

The Seahawks have too many deficiencies on both sides of the ball, and Holmgren the GM is as responsible as Holmgren the coach for the team's troubles.

The Raiders' MVP candidate completed 26 of 41 passes for 328 yards (his 10th 300-yard game) on a day when the ground game produced only 67 yards.	The Raiders are the best team in the AFC right now. Offensively, they're hitting their stride, and the pressure the offense puts on opponents makes the job easier for the Raiders' D.

The Jets speedster continues to shine with Chad Pennington at QB. Coles caught six passes for 126 yards and a touchdown.	The Broncos lack a punishing, Terrell Davis-type runner. Clinton Portis has played well, but Davis ran hard and punished defenses when they tried to tackle him.
