Trailing 31-7 in the fourth, the Steelers made a comeback, but Drew Bennett recovered the onside kick for the Titans with 1:28 remaining.	Hines Ward and Kordell Stewart both had good games for the Steelers, but they lost. We'll go with Steve McNair who threw for 257 yards and two TDs.	The Titans have been aggressive in coming after the QB, utilizing coach Jeff Fisher's blitzing mentality.

After scoring only three points in three quarters, the Colts put up 17 fourth-quarter points.	Marvin Harrison. Harrison, who became the quickest to 600 career receptions in NFL history, had 14 catches for 138 yards and two touchdowns.	It's unfair to compare Dungy's defense in Tampa with his defense in Indianapolis because of the gap in personnel. Indy's D is playing as well as it can play.

Eric Warfield picked off Drew Bledsoe with just under 4:30 remaining in the game. The Chiefs were able to run the clock out with a couple of first downs.	Preist Holmes. The Chiefs' workhourse carried the ball 31 times for 104 yards and a touchdown.	In recent weeks, the Chiefs have tackled well, especially in the secondary. They're getting good pressure on the QB.

The Dolphins put up 17 first-half points. The defense took it from there.	The Miami defense. The Ravens were held to 155 total yards and were 2-for-10 on third down.	Miami CB Patrick Surtain is the best cornerback in the AFC right now. He and Jason Taylor led the Dolphins to victory today.

Moe Williams scored on a 3-yard run to put the Vikings up 10 with under two minutes remaining.	Randy Moss. Minnesota "go-to" guy had six catches for 115 yards, including a 24-yard touchdown to cap the opening drive of the game.	It's a mystery. For years, Favre has struggled inside on turf (he's now 2-9 in the Metrodome). I believe it's more than Brett Favre's problem -- it's a team thing.

The Redskins were able to get the ball back with 2:29 remaining but were unable to convert on fourth-and-17 following a Michael Strahan sack.	Jeremy Shockey. The Giants went to their rookie tight end early and often. He finished the game with 11 catches for 111 yards.	I'm a big fan of coach Jim Fassel. He's been up front that he's taking the responsibility to call plays -- and much like his playoff guarantee of two years ago, he's coming through.

The Eagles' offense exploded for 21 points in the second quarter and took a 28-14 lead into halftime.	Donovan McNabb. After a poor performance last week, McNabb bounced back by throwing for 257 yards and four touchdowns on 20 of 25 passing.	McNabb's injury casts a cloud over their playoff hopes. Unlike some other teams that have several star players, McNabb is the guy for the Eagles.

Following a 12-yard touchdown reception by Donte' Stallworth, Falcons tight end Alge Crumpler recovered the Saints onside kick and secured the Falcons' season sweep of the Saints.	Michael Vick. The former No. 1 overall pick showed once again why he is considered one of the NFL's most excieting players. He finished the game 11 of 23 for 160 yards and two touchdowns through the air, while running seven times for 55 yards and a 7-yard touchdown.	I think QB Aaron Brooks tried to do too much to counter his quarterback cousin, Michael Vick.

T.J. Houshmandzadeh fumbled the ball in Browns territory with 5:31 remaining. The Bengals did manage to get the ball back with under two minutes left, but with no timeouts were unable to get the ball down the field.	Tim Couch. Cleveland's QB completed 22-of-35 passes for 242 yards and three touchdowns. His 13-yard touchdown pass to Dennis Northcutt turned out the be the difference.	Something seems to be missing on the Browns. I don't see the camaraderie or a common identity that they rally around.

The Bucs' defense flexed their muscles and held the Panthers scoreless in the second half.	Brad Johnson. The Bucs signal caller threw for 253 yards and two touchdowns.	The key for the Bucs is to maintain consistency and tempo on offense. Coach Gruden likes to keep his offense up-tempo.

After Jose Cortez missed a potential game-winning 41-yard attempt in overtime, Drew Brees drove the Chargers down the field to set up Steve Christie's 40-yard game-winner.	Brees. After throwing a fourth-quarter interception in the end zone that could have cost the Chargers the game, Brees recovered and led two scoring drives late in the game to force OT. He finished 29 of 50 for 336 yards and two TDs.	The Chargers have all the components of a playoff team, except at QB. Drew Brees is talented but still young and inexperienced.

The Broncos outscored the Seahawks 21-3 in the fourth quarter.	Clinton Portis. In another good performance by the rookie running back, Portis had 136 yards rushing and 52 yards receiving.	(Steve) Beuerlein is a solid quarterback who can prosper in the Bronco system.

With the ball at their 18 and 1:32 remaining, David Carr was sacked twice and threw an incomplete pass to end the comeback attempt.	Mark Brunell. The Jags quarterback finished 15 of 25 for 224 yards and two touchdowns.	The Jags are 5-5, and the Colts and Titans are each 6-4. So the race could easily go down to the wire.

Anthony Becht caught a one-yard touchdown from Chad Pennington to give the Jets a 31-14 advantage in the fourth.	Pennington. The Jets are right in the middle of the AFC East race and Pennington is a major reason why. He finished the game 21 of 26 for 229 yards and four touchdowns.	The play-calling has utilized the Jets' receivers better. They're making more plays downfield.
