Green Bay's All-Pro quarterback completed 26 of 39 passes for 351 yards and two touchdowns.	The Lions are a young team, and they need to learn how to exploit their strengths and minimize their weaknesses.

Marc Bulger connected with Isaac Bruce from 7 yards out to give the Rams the lead late in the fourth quarter. The Chargers had one more shot but Drew Brees was picked off in the end zone with seconds remaining.	The connection of Bulger and Bruce. Bulger was 36 of 48 for 453 yards and four touchdowns, while Bruce had 10 catches for 163 yards and three touchdowns.	The Rams are clearly a dangerous team. They're digging themselves out of a deep hole, and they might even dig hard enough for a playoff berth.

The Colt's third-string tailback got the start due to injuries and cashed in. He racked up 114 yards and two touchdowns.	The Eagles blitz a lot and don't play much zone, so it was an opportunity for the Colts' receivers to excel against man-to-man coverage.

Brooks. The Saints' signal-caller finished 20-for-37 for 259 yards and the game-winning score.	Getting quarterback Rodney Peete back helped the offense, and the defense plays hungry and hard ... but then it gets worn down.

It held the Texans to 255 total yards, while sacking Carr four times and forcing three turnovers.	The Texans need to get the ball to rookie running back Jonathan Wells in situations where he can excel.

Tiki Barber scored on an 8-yard touchdown run and a Giants two-point conversion made it a seven-point game.	Barber. The Giants got him the ball often and Barber produced. He finished the game with 127 yards and a touchdown on the ground and 46 yards on seven receptions.	I liked the approach of coach Jim Fassel. He puts himself on the line and takes the heat as well as the acclaim.

Time ran out on the Steelers. Following a blocked 55-yard field goal attempt by the Falcons in OT, Tommy Maddox's "Hail Mary" was complete to Plaxico Burress, but Burress landed just inside the 1-yard line as time ran out.	Michael Vick and Maddox. Vick led Atlanta's comeback by throwing for 294 yards and a score and running for a TD to tie it late. Maddox finished 28-for-41 for 473 yards and four touchdowns.	There comes a time in most careers when you need to accept a lesser role for the sake of the team. This might be it for Jerome Bettis.

The Ravens' workhorse had 135 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries.	There have been some positives this season for the Bengals, and they need to find a way to build on them.

The Jags' kicker hit all four of his attempts and accounted for 14 of Jacksonville's points.	The Jags are in the playoff hunt. They need to keep beating inferior teams, but especially they need to beat the teams in their division (like the Colts and Titans).

The Seahawks quarterback passed for 260 yards and threw a 16-yard touchdown to Ryan Hannam.	They're able to perform well against teams with their talent level, but the bottom line is, the Seahawks are short on talent.

They held Priest Holmes, the NFL's leading rusher, to 51 yards rushing and All-Pro tight end Tony Gonzalez to one catch for 6 yards.	In their two most recent games, the 49ers in this game and in the 20-10 victory over Oakland two weeks ago, the Chiefs' defense has matched up well with two good offenses.

Tom Brady hit David Patten in the back of the end zone with less than a minute left. After falling behind 27-6 in the third quarter, the Pats scored on their final five possessions to snatch the victory.	Brady. The Bears found out the hard way not to give Brady and the Patriots' offense too many chances. Brady passed for 328 yards and threw all three of his touchdowns in the second half.	I thought the Patriots solved many of their problems last week in their big victory over the Bills. The Patriots should be in every game the rest of the way.
