Week 10 wrap-ups

ESPN.com

Seahawks 23, Bills 20
RECAP | BOX SCORE
It was over when ... Game ball goes to ... Vinny Cerrato's analysis
Rian Lindell hit a 51-yard FG for a 23-13 lead in the fourth, and the Bills didn't have time to rally. Seahawks RB Shaun Alexander. While he wasn't setting any records, 93 yards and a key TD on 25 carries set the tone. I wouldn't call them a playoff team yet, because Seattle is so young at wide receiver and quarterback...but with Alexander's contributions, they're improving.
UP NEXT: Seahawks (5-4) at Chiefs (2-7)   |    Bills (1-8) vs. Dolphins (6-3)

Titans 20, Bengals 7
RECAP | BOX SCORE
It was over when ... Game ball goes to ... Vinny Cerrato's analysis
After taking a 17-7 lead into the fourth, Joe Nedney booted a FG for the final points. Titans' WR Derrick Mason. His 101-yard kickoff return was a nice start, and he added four catches for 62 yards. The Titans have four wins now, but the playoffs are a long shot. I think the best that Tennessee and Cincinnati can do the rest of the way is to play spoiler roles in the division.
UP NEXT: Titans (4-5) vs. Steelers (7-2)   |    Bengals (4-5) at Browns (5-4)

Eagles 36, Cowboys 3
RECAP | BOX SCORE
It was over when ... Game ball goes to ... Vinny Cerrato's analysis
Ryan Leaf had a pass intercepted and returned 50 yards for a TD by Jeremiah Trotter for a 20-0 Philly lead. Eagles' defense, which sacked Leaf three times and returned two INTs for scores. The Eagles are a better team because Duce Staley is back and healthy, giving them more balance on offense. Staley looks quick and explosive, so Philly has a legitimate running game now. /font>
UP NEXT: Eagles (6-3) vs. Redskins (4-5)   |    Cowboys (2-7) vs. Broncos (5-5)

Falcons 23, Packers 20
RECAP | BOX SCORE
It was over when ... Game ball goes to ... Vinny Cerrato's analysis
Ashley Ambrose intercepted Brett Favre at the Falcons' 2 with a minute left. Falcons' QB Chris Chandler. Threw for 352 yards and two TDs on 29-for-50 effort. The Falcons are 5-4 now, but they're still behind St. Louis (7-1) and San Francisco (7-2) in the NFC West -- and they're tied with New Orleans (5-4). Making the playoffs will be tough for Atlanta.
UP NEXT: Falcons (5-4) at Panthers (1-9)   |    Packers (6-3) at Lions (0-9)

Jets 24, Dolphins 0
RECAP | BOX SCORE
It was over when ... Game ball goes to ... Vinny Cerrato's analysis
...they hit the field. The curse continues, with the Jets winning eight straight against Miami. Aaron Glenn and Victor Green share honors, for their 60- and 63-yard INT returns for TDs, respectively. The Jets have a defense that can win games for them now, whereas earlier their D was a liability. The Jets struggled early because they weren't comfortable with the new scheme, but now they're finding a comfort zone and gaining confidence.
UP NEXT: Jets (7-3) BYE   |    Dolphins (6-3) at Bills (1-8)

Saints 34, Colts 20
RECAP | BOX SCORE
It was over when ... Game ball goes to ... Vinny Cerrato's analysis
Ricky Williams rushed for a 14-yard TD in the fourth for the final score. Saints QB Aaron Brooks. After slow start, winds up 19 of 22 for 249 yards and two TDs. Today, wide receiver Joe Horn played well, as did running back Ricky Williams -- and that certainly helps Brooks. This was a big win for the Saints, who have struggled at home.
UP NEXT: Colts (4-5) vs. 49ers (7-2)   |    Saints (5-4) at Patriots (5-5)

Niners 25, Panthers 22
RECAP | BOX SCORE
It was over when ... Game ball goes to ... Vinny Cerrato's analysis
Jose Cortez kicked a 26-yard FG in overtime. Niners QB Jeff Garcia, whose 34 of 54 passing for 305 yards and three TDs were huge. Garcia has to be right in the thick of the MVP race. Look at what he's done, with the fourth-quarter comebacks and late-game heroics. So he's definitely in the hunt.
UP NEXT: Niners (7-2) at Colts (4-5)   |    Panthers (1-9) vs. Falcons (5-4)

Browns 27, Ravens 17
RECAP | BOX SCORE
It was over when ... Game ball goes to ... Vinny Cerrato's analysis
Jamel White scored a 1-yard TD for the final score in the fourth. Browns CB Anthony Henry. He intercepted Elvis Grbac three times. For the sake of the team's confidence overall, the Ravens may have to go to Randall Cunningham. But they've invested their money in Grbac, so that makes it tough to make a change.
UP NEXT: Browns (5-4) vs. Bengals (4-5)   |    Ravens (6-4) vs. Jaguars (3-6)

Steelers 20, Jaguars 7
RECAP | BOX SCORE
It was over when ... Game ball goes to ... Vinny Cerrato's analysis
Kordell Stewart scored in the fourth quarter for the 20-7 lead. Steelers' QB Stewart. Passed for 266 yards and 1 TD, and rushed for 50 yards and a TD. We know the Steelers can run and play defense. The question for Pittsburgh is this: Can Kordell play quarterback consistently the way he did today?
UP NEXT: Jaguars (3-6) at Ravens (6-4)   |    Steelers (7-2) at Titans (4-5)

Raiders 34, Chargers 24
RECAP | BOX SCORE
It was over when ... Game ball goes to ... Vinny Cerrato's analysis
Jerry Rice caught his final TD pass with 2:46 left to wrap it up. Raiders' WR Rice. Had eight catches for 131 yards and three TDs. The past two weeks, Flutie has looked like he's 39 years old. He's been turning the ball over lately. Today, he was just 12-of-27 plus an interception.
UP NEXT: Chargers (5-5) vs. Cardinals (3-6)   |    Raiders (7-2) at Giants (5-4)

Redskins 17, Broncos 10
RECAP | BOX SCORE
It was over when ... Game ball goes to ... Vinny Cerrato's analysis
Kent Graham passed 3 yards to Zeron Flemister in the final three minutes for a TD. Redskins' QB Graham. Filling in for the fallen Tony Banks, Graham had two fourth-quarter TDs. Denver is beat up on offense. Quarterback Brian Griese is beat up, No. 1 wide receiver Rod Smith is beat up, and without the injured Ed McCaffrey, the Broncos have no other go-to receiver.
UP NEXT: Redskins (4-5) at Eagles (6-3)   |    Broncos (5-5) at Cowboys (2-7), Nov. 22

Cardinals 45, Lions 38
RECAP | BOX SCORE
It was over when ... Game ball goes to ... Vinny Cerrato's analysis
Bill Gramatica's 50-yard FG gave Cards a 45-31 lead late. Cards' QB Jake Plummer. Passed for 334 yards and four TDs on 21-of-33 effort. Plummer gives himself a chance to play well when he doesn't turn the ball over and when he does make good decisions. Today, he made good decisions. But he can cost Arizona games when he tries to do too much.
UP NEXT:Lions (0-9) vs. Packers (6-3), Nov. 22   |    Cardinals (3-6) at Chargers (5-5)

Bears 27, Bucs 24
RECAP | BOX SCORE
It was over when ... Game ball goes to ... Vinny Cerrato's analysis
Martin Gramatica's 48-yard FG attempt bounced off the upright as time expired. Bears' WR Marty Booker. Had 7 catches for 165 yards and 3 TDs. Chicago took what the defense gave them, which was the deep pass. Quarterback Jim Miller and wide receiver Marty Booker did a tremendous job.
UP NEXT: Bears (7-2) at Vikings (3-5)   |    Bucs (4-5) at Rams (8-1), MNF

Rams 24, Patriots 17
RECAP | BOX SCORE
It was over when ... Game ball goes to ...
Kurt Warner passed to James Hodgins for an 11-yard TD and 24-10 lead in the fourth. Rams' QB Warner. Despite two INTs, he passed for 401 yards and three TDs, going 30-for-42.
UP NEXT: Rams (8-1) vs. Bucs (4-5), MNF   |    Patriots (5-5) vs. Saints (5-4)

Vikings 28, Giants 16
RECAP | BOX SCORE
It was over when ... Game ball goes to ...
Randy Moss caught a 57-yard TD pass for a 28-16 lead with 6:32 to play. Vikings WR Moss. With 10 catches for 171 yards and 3 TDs, he matched his season TD total.
UP NEXT: Giants (5-5) at Raiders (7-2)   |    Vikings (4-5) vs. Bears (7-2)
