Midseason Musings

Marshall Faulk
Faulk is on pace to break his yards from scrimmage mark.
It's Marshall Faulk's world, and NFL defenses are sorry they're living in it. ESPN.com's Tom Oates says the versatile running back has proved his true value to the Rams in the first half, and, with 771 yards rushing, 555 yards receiving and 14 touchdowns, Faulk is hands-down the midseason offensive MVP, according to ESPN's Chris Mortensen. Because of Faulk -- and Bud Carson's revamping of the defense -- most of ESPN's experts believe St. Louis will return to the Super Bowl for a rematch against the Titans.
