BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) -- Katrina Hibbert had 22 points and eight assists as LSU (No. 25 ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll, No. 23 AP) beat Louisiana-Lafayette 82-39 Tuesday night to remain unbeaten in the 18-game series between the teams. LSU (5-1), whose defense forced 35 turnovers and held Louisiana-Lafayette to 26 percent shooting, raced to a 42-17 halftime lead and coasted to its fourth straight victory. The Lady Cajuns, who had a 42-39 rebounding edge, dropped to 2-1. Marie Ferdinand added 15 points for LSU, DeTrina White had 14 points and 12 rebounds, and April Brown had 12 points.
