NORFOLK, Virginia (Ticker) -- Lucienne Berthieu scored 22 points and grabbed nine rebounds and Kim Giddens had nine of Old Dominion's record-setting 16 blocks as the 15th-ranked Lady Monarchs crushed intrastate rival Hampton, 91-64.

The 16 blocked shots is also a Colonial Athletic Association record. Tiffany Thompson had two blocks and five others picked up one apiece.

Sharron Francis had 10 points and 10 rebounds while falling three assists shy of a triple-double for Old Dominion, which led 46-31 at halftime and never looked back.

Hamchetou Maiga and Okeisha Howard netted 14 points apiece for the Lady Monarchs, who shot 42 percent (31-of-74), held a dominating 63-42 rebounding advantage and forced Hampton into 27 turnovers.

LaShondra Dixon scored 16 points and Brigit Phillips 10 for Hampton, which connected on just 31 percent (24-of-77) of its field goals and was 4-of-23 from 3-point range.
