HARRISONBURG, Va. (AP) -- Sharron Francis scored nine of her 16 points during a 32-7 run in the second half Friday night and No. 15 Old Dominion won its 97th consecutive conference game, 84-64 over James Madison.

The Lady Monarchs (22-4, 14-0 Colonial Athletic Association) have lost only once in their last 147 conference games, an 87-80 loss to the Dukes during the 1994-95 season.

Old Dominion improved to 3-0 since scoring and rebounding leader Lucienne Berthieu was sidelined with a shoulder injury.

James Madison (16-9, 9-5) led 38-35 after Mandy White opened the second half with a 3-pointer, but the Lady Monarchs turned up the heat and quickly put the game away.

Hamchetou Maiga and Kim Giddens each had six points during the run, which ended with Old Dominion in front 67-45 after two free throws by Francis with 7:17 remaining.

Maiga added 15 points and Natalie Diaz had 14.

White led James Madison with 20 points and Molly Williams added 17.
