TUSCALOOSA, Alabama (Ticker) -- LeCoe Willingham scored 19 points to lead a balanced attack as 15th-ranked Auburn rallied from an early nine-point deficit to defeat archrival Alabama, 69-59, in a Southeastern Conference game. Shana Askew added 14 points and Conswella Sparrow chipped in 10 and 10 rebounds for the Tigers (18-5, 6-4 SEC), who recorded their third straight road win. Auburn trailed 25-16 with 5:22 left in the first half but closed with a 14-4 burst and led at intermission, 30-29. Willingham's jumper with 18:51 remaining in the second half put the Tigers ahead for good, 32-31. Auburn shot 41 percent (21-of-51) from the field and made 21-of-29 free throws. LaNisha Cartwell scored 11 points and guards Shondra Johnson and Boo Barnes added 10 apiece for the Crimson Tide (14-9, 4-6), who shot 27 percent (9-of-33) after halftime. Alabama was only 2-of-17 from 3-point range.
