The Bruins showed little fight in this annual rivalry game, losing their fourth straight game after a 6-0 start.	The Trojans' defense, which smothered UCLA from the opening kickoff. USC intercepted Cory Paus twice and sacked him five times in three quarters. The Bruins mounted just one serious scoring threat the entire contest, in the fourth quarter. But the best day belonged to Bernard Berrian, who scored three times and had 357 all-purpose yards.
