The Sooners stopped Texas A&M on fourth down for the second time in the final three minutes of the game, the final time coming at the OU 35-yard line with 36 seconds to play. Oklahoma also came up with a goal-line stand with just under three minutes to play.Oklahoma linebacker Torrance Marshall, who returned his first career interception 32 yards for the eventual game-winning touchdown. The score also capped a 10-point, fourth-quarter comeback by the Sooners. Oklahoma: Nov. 18 vs. Texas Tech.

Ken Dorsey hit Reggie Wayne on a 7-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter, giving the Canes a 28-7 lead. Butch Davis refused the run up the score, pulling Dorsey and his starters midway through the fourth quarter.Dorsey was sharp, completing 22 of 35 passes for 264 yards and two TDs, but the Miami defense set the tone behind Phillip Buchanon's 71-yard interception return for the game's first TD. The Canes forced three turnovers, recorded two sacks and held Antonio Bryant, the nation's leading receiver, to 31 yards on four catches. Nov. 18 at Syracuse.

While the outcome was never in doubt, and it was over well before FSU struck for two fourth-quarter TDs, the Seminoles didn't look all that impressive for the first three quarters while notching their 23rd straight ACC contest.Chris Weinke, who added to his gaudy stats with five more TD passes. Marvin Minnis could be awarded a ball as well, but he can just keep the three he took into the end zone on the receiving end of Weinke scoring tosses. No. 18 vs. Florida.

Florida guard (yes, we said "guard") Thomas Moody caught a touchdown pass in the second quarter for a 24-21 lead. OK, so it was a deflected pass, but it somehow signaled the beginning of the end for the Gamecocks in a 28-point second quarter by the Gators.Florida quarterback Jesse Palmer, who relieved starter Rex Grossman (can you say quarterback controversy heading into FSU vs. Florida?), and finished 15 for 27 for 250 yards and three touchdowns -- one more than the Gamecocks had surrendered all season. Nov. 18 at Florida State.

Eric Crouch's pass bounced off the hands of Matt Davison on fourth-and-5 with under a minute to play. The loss ended Nebraska's Big 12 and national title hopes, and put the Wildcats a win over Missouri away from a likely rematch with No. 1 Oklahoma in the Big 12 championship game. K-State wide receiver Quincy Morgan, who defied Mother Nature to catch seven passes for 199 yards and two TDs in a mixture of rain, sleet and snow. Morgan's second touchdown pass from Jonathan Beasley, a 12-yarder with 2:52 to play, put the Wildcats up for good. Nebraska: Nov. 24 vs. Colorado.

Anthony Kelley sacked UCLA quarterback Cory Paus, forced a fumble, and then recovered the ball with 20 second to play in the game. Kelley had recovered an onsides kick about a minute earlier, but Washington couldn't run out the clock.While some Huskies had good games -- Freshman Rich Alexis ran for 127 yards on 21 carries -- beating UCLA for the first time in four seasons should be enough of a reward. Besides, the win kept Washington's Rose Bowl hopes alive. Nov. 18 at Washington State.

Oregon's Matt Smith intercepted Kyle Boller with under five minutes to play. Cal got the ball back, but was unable to recapture the momentum that saw it take a lead into the fourth quarter, only to have the Ducks score two unanswered TDs in the final 15 minutes.Joey Harrington, who once again sparked the Ducks' offense with three TDs -- two rushing and one through the air. Harrington wasn't smooth, but did hit 20 of 35 passes for 252 yards, including a 29-yard game-winner to Keenan Howry. Nov. 18 at Oregon State.

Lee Suggs scored the fourth of his five touchdowns, a 13-yard burst to open the third-quarter scoring and give Vick-less Va. Tech a 37-7 lead.Without Michael Vick, somebody had to step forward and shoulder the load on offense. Lee Suggs was that somebody, running for five touchdowns and 143 yards. Suggs scored on three 1-yard runs in the first half and then on scampers of 13 and 4 yards in the third quarter.Nov. 25 vs. Virginia.

Oregon State's Ryan Cesca kicked his third field goal of the first half to put the Beavers 23-3. Oregon State scored on five straight possessions in the first half.One ball for the entire Beaver defense, which held the Wildcats without a touchdown for the first time since 1994. Arizona was limited to just three field goals thanks to en effort that OSU coach Dennis Erickson called "our best game defensively." Nov. 18 vs. Oregon.

Dan Stultz kicked a 34-yard field goal with six seconds remaining, lifting the Buckeyes into a four-way tie atop the Big Ten standings. The Buckeyes' major source of offense Saturday, Dan Stultz, who kicked four field goals. Prior to his game-winner, Stultz kicked a 17-yarder to tie the game at 21-21 with 6:05 remaining. He also made good from 19 and 41 yards. Nov. 18 vs. Michigan.

The Tide got down 14-0 in the first quarter and lost any incentive to fight for lame duck head coach Mike DuBose. As a result, Alabama needs a win over rival Auburn next week to avoid its worse season since going 0-10 in 1955.Dicenzo Miller and Dontae Walker. For the fourth time this season, the MSU duo each went over the 100-yard mark on the ground. Miller ran for 104 yards and two TDs on 16 carries, while Walker added 117 yards on 16 carries. LaDainian Tomlinson scored on a 65-yard run on TCU's first second-half possession, capping a 21-point outburst by the Horned Frogs over a span of less than six minutes before and after halftime. With the win, TCU accepted an invite to the Mobile Alabama Bowl for the second straight season. TCU beat East Carolina, 28-19, in last year's bowl game.Tomlinson. Why? Where do we start? Not only did the TCU back run for 231 yards and his 50th career touchdown, but he also extended his streak of games with at least 100 yards to 11. With 4,784 yards, Tomlinson passed Marshall Faulk (4,589 yards at San Diego State) for second place on the WAC career rushing list. He is within 29 yards of former Colorado State standout Steve Bartalo's 4,813 yards. Nov. 18 vs. UTEP.

Iowa's Matt Stockdale recovered an onside kick with 2:58 and the Hawkeyes proceeded to run out the clock.This is a no-brainer and also unexpected, but the Iowa defense stepped up and turned in its best effort of the season. After watching tape all week of Northwestern's 654-yard performance in a 54-51 win over Michigan, the Hawkeyes held the Wildcats to 377 yards and just 17 points. This from the Big Ten's 10th-ranked unit. Nov. 18 vs. Illinois.

Roy Williams ran 35 yards to start the second-half scoring for Texas -- his third TD of the game. Williams also catch TD passes of 38 and 65 yards from Chris Simms in the first half.Hodges Mitchell, who for the second straight week outdid himself. Mitchell ran for a career-high 264 yards and three TDs a week after running for a personal best 229 yards. Nov. 24 vs. Texas A&M.

Air Force recovered an onside kick with just over a minute to play on a snow-covered field. While Colorado State scored the games final points, the Falcons scored 13 straight points to turn a 34-31 deficit with 13 minute to play into a 44-34 lead.On a night made for power runners, Air Force fullback Nate Beard managed to run for 149 yards and three touchdowns. At kickoff, the temperature was 17 degrees with a wind-chill factor of minus-25. Light snow fell throughout the game, but intensified late in the first half, obliterating the yard markers for the remainder of the game. Nov. 16 vs. Wyoming.

B.J. Askew hauled in a 40-yard TD pass from Drew Henson less than a minute into the fourth quarter. By then it was 27-3 and JoePa was looking at his first seven-loss season in 35 years with the Nittany Lions.You'd like to give Paterno something, but Michigan's Anthony Thomas gets the game ball after running for 171 yards and a touchdown on 35 carries. Jeff Kelly threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to Dawayne Woods in the second overtime after the Blazers had taken a 30-27 lead with a field goal. Kelly threw for two scores, both in overtime. Dawayne Woods, who along with his game-winning grab in the second overtime, also scored on runs of 3 and 5 yards. He had 194 all-purpose yards, including 82 on a kickoff return. Nov. 18 at Cincinnati.
