Nebraska led just 21-13 at halftime, and 14 points in the final two minutes of the game made the game look lopsided.Eric Crouch, who completed just 10 passes, but threw five for TDs. Chris Weinke tucked the ball under his arm and lumbered two yards for a touchdown just under five minutes into the third quarter for a 24-0 lead. At that point, the Seminoles were well on their way to a 16th straight win.Linebacker Tommy Polley, who returned an interception four yards for a touchdown and forced a fumble. Polley's TD extended the defense's streak of scoring to five games.Sept. 28 at Maryland.

The Gators scored 14 points over a 49-second span at the end of the second quarter. Earnest Graham's 57-yard TD run capped the outburst and gave Florida a 38-17 halftime lead.In a game that featured 956 yards of offense -- 504 by Kentucky -- Jessee Palmer was still able to stand out for the Gators. The much-maligned quarterback ran... yes ran ... for a school-record four TDs and threw for a fifth. The last Gator to reach end zone four times was Fred Taylor in '97.Sept. 30 at Mississippi State.

The Wildcats blocked their second of two punts in the first quarter and scored 24 points in the first 15 minutes. As a whole, however, K-State's latest exhibition wasn't quite as impressive as last week's 76-0 romp of Ball State.Quarterback Jonathan Beasley, who scored a school-record five touchdowns in the rout. Beasley's first four scoring runs covered only 5 yards, but the senior got the record with a zig-zagging 16-yard scamper in the third quarter.Sept. 30 at Colorado.

UCLA quarterback Ryan McCann couldn't handle a shotgun snap with less than two minutes remaining, and Oregon recovered at the Bruins' 4. One play later, Maurice Morris (139 yards) was in the end zone for the second time.The Ducks defense, which held UCLA scoreless in the first half and DeShaun Foster to just 49 yards on 19 carries in the game. Foster entered the game as the nation's third-leading rusher (422 yards). As a whole, the Bruins gained just 22 yards on the ground.Sept. 30 vs. Arizona State.

Petros Papadakis bullied his way five yards up the middle for the go-ahead score with 2:34 remaining, as USC came back from a 12-point deficit in the fourth quarter with 21 points in the final eight minutes of the game.USC quarterback Carson Palmer, who led the fourth-quarter comeback by leading the Trojans on marches of 80 and 67 yards. Palmer finished 22 of 38 for 338 yards and two touchdowns.Sept. 30 at Oregon State.

The Illini lost the second of two fumbles in the final four minutes of the game. The first fumble, however, set up Anthony Thomas' winning 4-yard TD run. Thomas appeared to fumble the play prior to his score, but officials ruled him down before the ball came out.Thomas, who rambled for 228 yards and two touchdowns. But Michigan fans must have enjoyed seeing Drew Henson back on the field. All he did was replace John Navarre and rally the Wolverines from a 21-7 deficit in the third quarter.Michigan: Sept. 30 vs. Wisconsin

Ohio State noseguard Mike Collins returned a fumble 11 yards for a touchdown and 38-6 lead. It was the third of three rapid-fire touchdowns. Collins was one of six Buckeyes to score TDs.Certainly not Joe Paterno, who doesn't need any reminders of his worst loss in 35 years as a head coach. Howard Clark returned an interception 29 yards for a 28-10 lead midway through the scoring burst. Ken Dorsey, who picked up where he left off in a failed comeback bid at Washington last week. Dorsey threw two TD passes to Reggie Wayne, finishing 22 of 33 for 291 yards.Sept. 30 at Rutgers.

His game-winner on fourth down also came against an all-out blitz by the Irish, yet he hit Herb Haygood in stride. The Boilermakers' offense came out in high gear behind Drew Brees, scoring 24 unanswered points for a 24-3 halftime lead. Purdue rolled up 357 yards in the first half to the Gophers' 85.Drew Brees, who solidified himself as the Big Ten's all-time rifleman. Brees threw for 408 yards and two TDs, while setting Big Ten career records for completions and attempts. His 497 yards of total offense made him the second player in conference history to accumulate 10,000 yards in his career.Sept. 30 at Penn State.

Well, it looked like halftime when Auburn owned a 24-0 lead. But the Huskies closed to 24-14 in the fourth before Rudi Johnson's 56-yard touchdown run finally put the Tigers comfortably ahead.Auburn's Rudi Johnson, who rushed for over 100 yards for the fourth straight game. It became a blowout in the third quarter when Shawn Mills hauled in his second TD catch of the game from Jeff Kelly for a 21-3 cushion.Southern Mississippi quarterback Jeff Kelly. With the running game stuck in neutral, Kelly's arm was called into action and he responded by completing 20 of 37 passes for 257 yards and two TDs.Sept. 30 vs. Memphis.

Phil Petty's career-high 305 yards passing that kept the Gamecocks in the game, or his replacement Erik Kimrey's only pass of the game -- a game-winning toss to Jermale Kelly?
