The WAC lost TCU, but picked up both Boise State and Louisiana Tech to make it a 10-team league. While UTEP is the defending champ, there are plenty of questions. After all, they must replace QB Rocky Perez and All-America tight end Brian Natkin. Among the challengers will be San Jose State, which is led by RB Deonce Whitaker. Whitaker, who finished with 1,577 and 15 TDs last season, will try to stake his claim as one of the nation's best running backs.
