While there was some indecision about whether it would be Oregon or Oregon State as their opponent, Texas coach Mack Brown watched the Oregon State-Oregon game film to get the Longhorns ready.

Jan. 1 11 a.m. ET FOX	Big 12 No. 2 vs. SEC at Dallas	Kansas State vs. Tennessee. We know Tennessee is in. The Vols have won six in a row and are playing well behind RB Travis Henry and QB Casey Clausen. The Vols will face a gutsy Kansas State team that nearly ended Oklahoma's title hopes.

OUTBACK

Jan. 1 11 a.m. ET ESPN	Big Ten No. 3 vs. SEC No. 3 at Tampa, Fla.	Ohio State vs. South Carolina. Lou Holtz can start the talk of how lucky his team is just to be on the field with the Buckeyes. Don't be fooled. South Carolina could win with a strong running game led by Derek Watson.
