One of the biggest concerns Heisman pundits had about Peter Warrick's candidacy was if the Florida State receiver would get enough opportunities with the ball during the course of the season.
While he won't get nearly the touches of a Ron Dayne or Jamal Lewis, Warrick makes the most of the few times he gets the pigskin in his paws. Against No. 10 Georgia Tech, Warrick lined up just about every way imaginable. He collected eight passes for 142 yards, rushed for 25 yards and scored two TDs -- one on a 17-yard run while lined up at quarterback in a shotgun formation and the other on a 26-yard catch from Chris Weinke.
And perhaps most important of all, he had a big impact in a big game, something Heisman voters adore.
