| Welcome to a winning season | Oregon State snapped a 28-year run of losing seasons with its 17-7 win over Cal. The win gave the Beavers six victories this season, breaking their NCAA Division I-A record streak that began with the 1971 season. The victory also made Oregon State eligible for its first bowl game since the 1965 Rose Bowl. |
