We'll be tracking the top six players on our weekly Heisman Poll each Saturday. Here is how those six players performed this week. The ESPN.com Heisman Poll is voted on by Lee Corso, Todd Christensen, Bill Curry, Rece Davis, Rod Gilmore, Mike Gottfried, Kirk Herbstreit, Mel Kiper, Jr. and Gene Wojciechowski.

DAMIEN ANDERSON -- NORTHWESTERN
Damien Anderson
Anderson
Breaking it down: He started his season slowly with only 14 yards in the first half, but finished strong in his season opener under the Vegas lights. His quarterback kept the ball for two short TD runs, while Anderson never found the end zone. He did, however, end up surpassing Darnell Autry to become the Wildcats' leading career rusher.
Friday's Performance: Beat UNLV, 37-28
Rushing: 28 carries, 113 yards
Receiving: 4 catches, 11 yards

ERIC CROUCH -- NEBRASKA
Eric Crouch
Crouch
Breaking it down: While the Cornhuskers continue to roll and scored an important win for their national title hopes Saturday night, Crouch finds himself getting overshadowed a bit. Sure he's producing wins, but his numbers were mediocre at best -- his third such outing -- and one only has to look back at Mr. Heupel to see what happens to such quarterbacks who win a Sears Trophy, but still fall short when it comes to the Heisman Trophy.
Saturday's Performance: Beat Notre Dame, 27-10
Passing: 6 of 9, 108 yards; 1 TDs, 1 INT
Rushing: 14 carries, 31 yards
Season Statistics
Passing: 24 of 42, 368 yards; 1 TD, 2 INTs
Rushing: 53 carries, 148 yards; 2 TDs

WOODROW DANTZLER -- CLEMSON
Woodrow Dantzler
Dantzler
Breaking it down: He played just three quarters, but did enough damage against another overmatched defense to keep his numbers up to snuff. Still waiting, however, for him to break out and make us take notice. Maybe he's saving his best for the SEC. Tiger fans sure hope that's the case.
Saturday's Performance: Beat Wofford, 38-14
Passing: 21 of 30, 207 yards; 2 TDs
Rushing: 13 carries, 55 yards
Season Statistics
Passing: 36 of 55, 361 yards; 3 TDs, 0 INTs
Rushing: 31 carries, 101 yards; 2 TDs

KEN DORSEY -- MIAMI
Den Dorsey
Dorsey
Breaking it down: Over 300 yards in under three quarters of work pretty much sums up Dorsey's tune-up for next week's clash against Washington. But two straight solid weeks have shown he's in this race for the long haul and will last as long, if not longer, than the Hurricanes' championship chase.
Saturday's Performance: Beat Rutgers, 61-0
Passing: 14 of 25, 315 yards; 2 TDs, 1 INT
Season Statistics
Passing: 34 of 52, 654 yards; 5 TDs, 2 INT

DESHAUN FOSTER -- UCLA
DeShaun Foster
Foster
Breaking it down: You've got to get up pretty early in the morning to slow down this guy. After a week of 9:30 a.m. practices and a wake up call in Kansas that felt like 4:30 a.m., Foster sounded his own alarm to the country with another rugged display of running, keeping UCLA a step ahead of the rest out West.
Saturday's Performance: Beat Kansas, 41-17
Rushing: 28 carries, 179 yards; 1 TD
2001 Statistics
Rushing: 52 carries, 289 yards; 1 TD

JOEY HARRINGTON -- OREGON
Joey Harrington
Harrington
Breaking it down: What do Dan Fouts and Harrington have in common? Both have 37 career TD passes at Oregon. Nobody will confuse Harrington with Fouts so far this season, ie: 400-plus yards through the air. But Fouts never finished among the top five in Heisman voting. We think Harrington just might this season.
Saturday's Performance: Beat Utah, 24-10
Passing: 17 of 27, 220 yards; 2 TDs, 0 INTs
Season Statistics
Passing: 40 of 75, 498 yards; 5 TDs, 2 INTs
