 Generations of Iowa State players waited for this moment. It was a season of firsts for Iowa State. The Cyclones capped one of their best campaigns with their first-ever bowl victory, 37-29 over Pittsburgh in the Insight.com Bowl. The bowl win gave Iowa State the first nine-win season in living memory, dating back to 1906, as Sage Rosenfels ended his college career with 308 passing yards and two scoring throws in his finale.
