WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP) _ Mike Green rushed for 162 yards and two touchdowns as Houston beat Army 26-14 Saturday. After falling behind 20-0, Army (3-7, 1-5 Conference USA) scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter on 5-yard runs by Michael Wallace and Joe Gerena to make it 20-14. But after Houston recovered an onside kick by Army, the Cougars (7-4, 3-3) scored on a 46-yard TD run by Green with 3:07 left. Green's 26-yard TD run with 52 seconds left in the first quarter gave Houston a 14-0 lead. Green gained 89 of Houston's 227 rushing yards in the first half. Until the fourth quarter, Houston held Army's rushing attack to 126 yards on 35 carries. However, the Cadets ran for more than 100 yards in the fourth quarter. Houston took a 7-0 lead on Ketric Sanford's 2-yard touchdown run in the first quarter. In that drive, Sanford broke school records for career all-purpose yards and rushing touchdowns. He finished the game with 3,636 career rushing yards, 6,717 all-purpose yards, and 28 rushing touchdowns.
