JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) _ Cleo Lemon threw four touchdowns and Jonathan Adams ran for two as Arkansas State rolled up 572 yards and beat Nevada 44-28 Saturday.

Adams scored from the 11-yard line, Nick Gatto kicked a 48-yard field goal and Lemon completed a 39-yard scoring pass to J.J. Washington to give the Indians (4-7, 3-3 Big West Conference) a 17-0 lead early in the second quarter.

Nevada (3-7, 2-3) rallied with a 2-yard touchdown run by Chris Lemon and an 8-yard touchdown pass from David Neill to Trevor Insley to make it 17-14 with 43 seconds before halftime.

But the Indians struck back quickly. Starting from their 47-yard line after the kickoff, Lemon completed a 38-yard pass to Washington. Three plays later, he hit Jamie Hickenbotham for a 15-yard touchdown with 15 seconds left. The kick failed and Arkansas State led 23-14 at halftime.

The Indians went 65 yards in eight plays on their first possession of the second half, taking a 30-14 lead on Lemon's 10-yard pass to Jacquis Walker.

The Wolf Pack pulled to within nine again when Neill completed a 14-yard touchdown pass to Insley.

Then Lemon threw his fourth touchdown _ a 6-yarder to Walker with 3:51 in the third quarter. Lemon finished 15-25 for 281 yards passing.

Adams, who scored again from 1-yard in the fourth quarter, led all rushers with 165 yards on 27 carries. Lamont Zachery added 149 yards on 22 carries for Arkansas State.

Neill completed 26-of-45 passes for 328 yards and also ran 7 times for 32 yards. He was sacked four times. Cleavon Brooks caught 9 passes for 118 yards for Nevada while Insley caught 7 passes for 103 yards.
