HUNTSVILLE, Texas (AP) _ Chris Chaloupka hooked up with receiver Matt Dominguez for three touchdowns in Sam Houston State's record-setting 69-17 drubbing of Nicholls State on Saturday.

Sam Houston's (5-4, 3-2 Southland Football League) 69 points was the most by a Bearkat squad since 1949.

Dominguez caught his fourth touchdown pass from backup quarterback Albert Bradley, which set the school record for most touchdown receptions in a game. Dominguez finished the game with seven receptions for 171 yards.

The Chaloupka-led Sam Houston offense racked up 592 yards of offense, 408 of which came through the air. Chaloupka completed 16 of 21 passes for 321 yards and five touchdowns, which tied the single-game record he already set earlier this season.

Nicholls State (1-8, 1-5) held the ball for 36:20 minutes to the Bearkats' 23:40, but was kept off the scoreboard in the second half.
