JACKSONVILLE, Ala. (AP) _ Reggie Stancil threw for 253 yards and two touchdowns Saturday to lead Jacksonville State to a 17-10 win over Southwest Texas State. The Gamecocks (2-5, 1-3 Southland Football League) broke a four-game losing streak with the win over the Bobcats (2-5, 1-3). Stancil's touchdown passes of 9 yards to Cedric Allen and 17 yards to Joey Hamilton put Jacksonville State up 14-0 at halftime. It was Hamilton's 22nd career touchdown reception and set a league record. Southwest Texas got a 21-yard field goal from Justin Martinez near the end of the third quarter, then Spergon Wynn hit Tyson Olivo with an 8-yard touchdown pass 2 1/2 minutes later after the Bobcats recovered a pooched kickoff. But the Gamecocks held off a rallying Southwest Texas in the fourth quarter and added a 32-yard field goal by Brad Hopkins. Bronson Sanders rushed for 167 yards on 31 carries for the Bobcats.
