MARTIN, Tenn. (AP) _ Tennessee State's Leon Murray passed for 269 yards and five touchdowns Saturday to lead the Tigers to a 43-7 victory over Tennessee-Martin.

Murray connected on 13-yard scoring passes to Marvin Jones and Avion Black in the first quarter as the Tigers (6-0, 2-0 Ohio Valley Conference) took a 12-0 lead. Jones also rushed for 122 yards on 20 carries.

Martin (1-6, 0-5) pulled within 12-7 on a 16-yard scoring pass from Edward Robertson to Deundre Greer early in the second quarter.

TSU, ranked fourth in NCAA Division I-AA, countered with a 27-yard field goal by Seith Goodowens and a 13-yard touchdown pass from Murray to Corey Sullivan to lead 23-7 at the half.

Sullivan finished with six receptions for 106 yards for the Tigers.

Murray tossed two more touchdown passes in the third quarter _ a 20-yarder to Black and a 1-yard toss to Carlo Thomas. The Tigers also got a 53-yard scoring run from Amariah Robb.
