POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (AP) _ Kevin Chartrand threw for 257 yards and scored four touchdowns to lead Marist College over La Salle 41-23 in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game on Saturday.

Chartrand's fourth touchdown, a 55-yard pass to Jerry Giordano (93 yards), tied a school record for most touchdown passes in a game and put Marist (3-3, 3-2 MAAC) ahead by 20 points with 14:12 left in the fourth quarter. Chartrand completed 11-of-19 attempts and passed in three touchdowns in the first half to put the Red Foxes up 21-7 at halftime.

Mike Bramowski's 24-yard touchdown pass to Brett Rothenburger with one minute remaining in the game capped a 16-point fourth-quarter rally by La Salle (3-3, 2-3). The Explorers finished the game with 398 yards on offense, but could not overcome Marist's lead.

Marist's Brian Traynor made five catches for 111 yards, including a 65-yard touchdown reception at the end of the first quarter that broke an early one-touchdown tie.

La Salle's two quarterbacks combined for 347 passing yards, but were sacked five times for a loss of 51 yards. Bramowski completed 16-of-21 attempts for 197 yards and was sacked four times. John Travers threw 13 passes for 150 yards and was sacked once.
