LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) _ Texas Southern sacked Arkansas-Pine Bluff quarterback Kevin Williams five times and intercepted three of his passes en route to a 20-7 victory Saturday night.

ZeAndre Davis returned the second interception 38 yards for a touchdown. The third interception set up a 25-yard field goal that put Texas Southern up 17-7 with 11:54 left in the game.

Texas Southern opened the scoring with a 1-yard run by Ray Rubins with 4:09 left in the first quarter.

Williams matched that score at 3:26 of the second quarter, scoring on a 9-yard run after completing three passes for 73 yards on the drive.

But Davis' interception in the third period slowed the Golden Lions' momentum, giving the Tigers a 14-7 lead.

On the first play of the fourth quarter, Williams threw to Tavoris Haynes near the sideline, but Walter Burton stepped in front for the interception and returned it 57 yards to set up J.B. LaCombe's first field goal.

LaCombe completed the scoring with a 22-yard field goal with 2:55 left in the game.
