CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (AP) _ Jerome Tillman rushed for 127 yards and one touchdown as Tennessee Tech beat Southeast Missouri State 21-7 on Saturday. Southeast Missouri (0-6 overall, 0-4 Ohio Valley Conference) took a 7-0 lead in the first quarter on a 32-yard pass from Bobby Brune to Leslie Weaver. But Tillman scored for the Golden Eagles (3-1, 2-0) on a 1-yard run with five minutes remaining in the third quarter to tie the game 7-7. Minutes later, Jahl Henley blocked a Southeast punt and Tory Lane returned it 15 yards for another Eagles touchdown. Grant Swallows scored on a 1-yard run in the fourth quarter to close out the scoring. Tech allowed the Indians just 79 total yards in the second half, and 178 for the game. The loss was Southeast Missouri's 11th straight over two seasons.
