PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) _ James Perry completed an Ivy League-record 41 passes and threw for three touchdowns and Michael Malan rushed for four scores as Brown beat Princeton 53-30 Saturday. The 53 points scored by Brown (3-1, 2-1) was the most Princeton has allowed in an Ivy League game. Backup quarterback Jon Levins threw a pair of touchdown passes for Princeton (1-3, 0-2), while Cameron Atkinson and Tommy Crenshaw ran for scores. Perry's 41 completions broke the Ivy League record of 39 set by Columbia's John Witkowski in 1982. Perry, who made 63 pass attempts, was intercepted once, and threw touchdown passes of 3, 2 and 11 yards. Malan rushed for touchdown runs of 50 and 9 yards and also scored on a pair of 1-yard bursts. Brown, which gained 537 yards in total offense to Princeton's 323 yards, led 21-14 with four minutes left in the second quarter before breaking the game open with a touchdown eight seconds before halftime. The Bears added two touchdowns and a field goal in the third quarter. Michael Powell, Steven Campbell and Billy Rackley caught touchdown passes for Brown.
