LORMAN, Miss. (AP) _ Damion Ford threw for 161 yards and four touchdowns as Alcorn State scored 54 points in the first half to beat Prairie View 61-0 on Saturday.

Alcorn (3-2), which has won 38 of the 51 games in the series, racked up 342 passing yards in the game. Marcus Taylor threw for 181 yards and two touchdowns for the Braves.

Taylor started the scoring with an 18-yard TD pass to Ronald Gilmore with 14:07 remaining in the first quarter. After a fumble recovery was returned for a 35-yard touchdown by Ken Washington, Alcorn scored again on Ford's 24-yard TD pass to Yancy Wright.

Prairie View (1-5) did little on defense and offense. Three quarterbacks combined for just 173 yards on 22-for-50 passing for the Panthers.

Ford threw his second touchdown to Marco Walder with 14:54 left in the second quarter to put Alcorn ahead 28-0. Ford later hit Surhaven Fair with a 17-yard touchdown pass and Gilmore with a 4-yard TD pass to give the Braves a 47-0 lead with 7:20 remaining in the first half.

Alcorn led 54-0 at the half.

Taylor threw his final touchdown to Walder _ an 8-yard pass with 12:00 left in the third quarter. Walder had eight receptions for 140 yards and two touchdowns.

Alcorn had 491 yards of total offense.
