VILLANOVA, Pa. (AP) _ Curtis Keaton ran 31 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter, and James Madison held on for a 23-20 victory Saturday over Villanova after Wildcat kicker Casey Hannon missed a 47-yard field goal attempt late in the game. Hannon also missed a 50-yard attempt with 7:22 to play that could have tied the game as Villanova (3-2, 2-2 Atlantic 10) failed to capitalize on numerous miscues by James Madison (4-1, 4-0) in the second half. The Wildcats blocked three consecutive James Madison punts in the third quarter, but converted just one into a score when DeLonne Kelly returned a loose ball seven yards to give Villanova a 20-16 lead. Villanova fumbled three times in the third quarter, two of them inside their own 25-yard line on its first two possessions of the second half. Charles Berry caught an 18-yard TD pass for the Dukes, and Mike Glover hit three field goals. A 2-yard touchdown pass from Chris Boden to Joe Kavanaugh early in the second quarter gave Villanova a 10-7 lead. Kavanaugh caught a career-high 10 passes, including his first career touchdown, while Boden extended his touchdown passing streak to 29 consecutive games.
